Mate, UK doctors are European doctors, UK is in Europe and salaries are similar, i think only switzerland would be an exception. Also looking down at other degrees and comparing that to the amount of hours studied - i dont think medicine comes close to engineering.

There is nothing wrong with knowing you have put in a lot of work for what you do compared to other degrees , props to all of the the hard workers out there
American doctors don’t really earn that much in comparison to other professions, like entrepreneurship, business execs, consultants, etc. When you factor in the debt and earning potential that you give up to peruse school & residency (8-13 years earning no income versus earning $50,000/year), doctors don’t see the payout until much later down the road

Medicine is an undergraduate degree in the UK which lasts 5-6 years depending on the university/course you chooses to do. So you start medical school at 18 and finish at 23/24.
I agree with the hours and difference in degrees. I'm a Biomedical sciences graduate and it was definitely a lot more than my friends studying other degrees. It's great to have more BIPOC in these roles though and you all should move out to the other counties like Devon and Lincolnshire etc with less minority doctors.... We need you all! Please bring your hot selves to these places, but if you're looking for wives, we out here single as hell too
