I look forward to trying this out. I had great hopes for the QF 787 and found it to be the worst aircraft I've ever travelled on, in terms of space in Cattle Class. It wasn't the legroom which was tolerable -it was the shoulder room which was so limited that you needed to turn sideways in your seat in order to use a knife and fork. That, coupled with the cabin crew's decision to electronically dim the huge windows for almost the entire trans-Pacific crossing means I never want to travel on this type in the future. Hoping the 350 will leave a better impression.

Qantas’ Project Sunrise is set to revolutionize long-haul travel with non-stop flights from Melbourne to several international destinations. The initial routes for Project Sunrise flights from Melbourne are planned to include:
Melbourne to London: This route will connect Melbourne directly with London, offering a non-stop service that significantly reduces travel time.
Melbourne to New York: Another ambitious route that will link Melbourne and New York without any stopovers.
Following the launch of these routes, other potential destinations from Melbourne under Project Sunrise may include:
Paris: A direct flight from Melbourne to Paris is being considered, which would offer travelers a convenient connection to another major European city.
Frankfurt: Frankfurt is also on the list of potential direct destinations from Melbourne, providing access to Germany’s financial hub and Europe’s largest economy.
Miami and Sao Paulo: These cities have been mentioned as possible future destinations for Project Sunrise flights from Melbourne.
