Alabama's Largest Indoor Water Park: Tropic Falls at OWA 2023

- Tropic Falls at OWA is a theme park in Foley, Alabama, United States. In 2022, the park opened a 100,000 square feet (9290 m²) indoor water park which is only accessible through the main gate and requires an additional ticket. Unlike most other indoor water parks in the US, this one is elaborately themed, especially when it comes to the landing area of Tangerine Scream, Piranha Plunge and Aqua Chaser - these three rides go straight through the floor and guests will end their ride in an artificial cave. While the water park itself is light-flooded by the sun during the day thanks to the retractable glass roof, it is illuminated by LED effects at night. We have included POVs of all the rides at night as we think the experience is so different. Also, the water park is now home to a 30,000 (2787 m²) square feet wave pool. This is one of our favorite indoor water parks in the US. When it comes to the theming, it even outperformes Aquatopia.

I went there last year during summer vacation with my dad it was so fun!
Indoor waterparks always look better at night in my opinion. This one is easily the best looking one at night that I've personally seen. It also looks like OWA is one of those places where the wtarerpark is better than the theme park.

I have a question tuberiders. when you went to the big banana fun park in australia, did you ask for permission to record there or did u just record without asking? i might record on my GoPro when i go on my camping trip.
There's a lot of water parks of note in Alabama, especially in the north half of the state.

You could also collect all the recycled water off the building to run through filters and use solar panels for electricity might be helpful. ❤️

@@alexkoehler2001 You could use underground cisterns or pools to get drainage from the roof water and you could use solar panels around the generate electricity since you got sunshine outside.

Well, here's an honest review. we went yesterday. drove 6 hours to go. got there, spent 3 hours in lines, some things you HAVE to wear shoes, others you can't. none of this is stated or posted anywhere, the employees are rude, the patrons are disrespectful af. maybe we were the wrong color, not sure. but we got a refund after 4 hours, and had only been in a wave pool with NO WAVES. Lines are crazy long, as theme parks go. but after waiting in line for 45 minutes to get told "No Shoes, get out of the line and go back" we gave up. we all have on Vibram WATER SHOES. Ridiculous and staff needs to communicate the requirements AT the rides or give you a pamphlet or something. 3/10.

Imagine lying about a fun water park like first of all there's barely an lines and especially not "4 hour ones" and the life guard are not rude and barely even talk to you unless they are super nice
I went in the heat of the summer and lines were 3 minutes max
Today went for a school field trip, I had the time of my life.
I went like last year, (maybe just like a little less than a year). I had a wonderful time. We did not have to wait in line that long tbh, we probably waited a few minutes tops. I personally didn’t wear any shoes anyway, but I never did hear about complaints with water shoes. Maybe that was just us though. The only downside I would say is that it was really expensive according to my parents, which I don’t doubt it was.
My brother went 2 days in a row one time with his girlfriend and another time with his bsf though he rode the really tall blue roller coaster thing 10 times and got a giant bruise on his arm from it 🤷♀️
I think it’s the only indoor water park in the state.😂
