I remember when model airplanes were really small... This one is YUGE! Pretty soon they'll build one big enough to carry a person... What a concept! I hope I'm around when they do that...
Some of you guys comments are so far off it's hard to believe. This guy does the same thing that we do. we create things, and the more challenging the idea in your head is, the funnest things to build are craft that you put the detail into..r it is to succeed👍
That's a beautiful airplane right there. Seems like it flies great. I must say that I would have to put a flat four cylinder four stroke gasser with individual header pipes for each cylinder in that bad boy if it was mine.
Great job and nice flying and yes that motor sounds very strong . Most non flyers don't understand the bigger the plane is the easter it is to see and fly . .40 size planes look like the size of a bird when you are flying and that is the most common size . It is the starting size .
Great video and great piper cub flown to a high standard been a rc pilot for 45 years. flown and own large cubs built from plans great air craft in MODEL FORM & MODEL FORM. JUST can't understand why people give it 75 NOT liKES . just GEUSE THAT thay are gelous that thay cant fly or build butefull models like that. WELL DONE THE BUILDER AND PILOT.
Exactly. I'd even go so far as to say that when you get to an aircraft this large, you need to take a few flying lessons first...before you hurt someone with the thing. Here's the first lesson: The rudder is for three things on an aircraft. In no particular order they are: 1) To overcome torque 2) To overcome P-factor 3) To overcome adverse yaw I spent 20+ years as a flight instructor, and saw all three of those problems with this flight. Great-looking aircraft though.
Meantime you'll keep slamming the thing through the sky, hoping you don't kill someone when you stall/spin it into the hapless and unsuspecting crowd of onlookers? Don't say you weren't warned.
@@bluehornet6752 i see you keep coming back to bash this guy lol. With real aircraft yes you have to maintain the runway no matter wind direction with rc when the wind pushes the tail to the wind you go with it flying into the wind on take off equals, = bet you know the answer...
Hey snowflake, I wasn't "bashing" anyone. I'm just trying to protect our sport from people who don't seem to realize how much damage they can do to it by making poor decisions. This has nothing to do with the wind. Just compute the kinetic energy this (semi)guided missile has, and tell me how much control you feel comfortable maintaining. RUclips is full of these "look at me!" videos, where people build huge aircraft and then go fly them around the sky in a ham-fisted fashion, with no clue whatsoever of the basic principles governing the flight of an aircraft. And what's worse is that they do it around a crowd of unsuspecting people who assume, because the aircraft is so big, that the person flying it *must* know what they're doing. So they stand there while the pilot slams the thing around the sky, mere feet from killing someone. But hey, if you're comfortable with that then so be it. I'm not though--and I really don't want to see the sport overly-regulated by the government because someone builds a huge aircraft, but clearly doesn't understand why it flies the way it flies. And at the end of the day I couldn't give one less pinch of shit what you say. I spent YEARS evaluating the way people fly aircraft and am quite confident in my abilities to do so. But thanks for your comment!

Incredible flying skills. I still don't understand how a plane flies upside down with the upside down wing lift pulling the plane down to the ground? Beautiful model!
If u have to ask why, you dont understand. Take it for what it is. Also, can a guy not enjoy his hard work and investment with out being picked apart for his flying, or why he did it. This is an amazing machine. He may have 10 full size planes, everyone just assumes what they want. Enjoy things.
When would the FAA (for eg) become "interested" upon the size of a RC model.... what %of a full scale aircraft might have them paying a visit? I know some people have made very big RC models of Boeing and Airbus planes.
Can you fly in it ? Can you make "Cargo Drops" from it ? Why would you need an RC this big unless you are flying behind it in a chase plane. Why not build an ultra light ?
I have often wondered why someone who has the skill and expertise to build something like this doesn't just go ahead and build an ultra-lite and really go flying.
Engineering, time, money, licenses, certification, fear of flying, not what they want to do, because they like rc and don't want a real plane, just guessing, but i bet this person really like rc planes. I could be wrong. They may already own a real plane. Maybe they have already gone ahead and built themselves an ultra-lite. You make great assumptions on this persons life from one video.
I wondered the same. I am a part 61 ppl (sel) and I also fly Rc. To me Rc is like watching an Airshow. And I can dictate what kind of maneuvers. Flying a full scale is a different kind of fun and I am limited to stall wing over and spins for my aerobatics. No so with rc.

The half outside loop from inverted is impressive!
I can hear my instructor now...”Right rudder!”
you stole my words, obviously not a pilot
You bet! But with respect, even RC flyers should know about prop torque and precession at t/o. Especially one who can fly as well as this.
Sustained inverted flight and an outside loop ! Impressive .
Great camera work too....I Loved the Flight and Cub !
Lovely large airplane, the Cub handles well and love your runway.
Fantastic cub, well done

Go, Turkey! But I was starting to want to see a stall and a spin, and a recovery from the spin, of course.
Amazing, well done,I had a much smaller one, yours performs very well😀
That is insane. So cool.
Awesome looking model!
It flys like a dream.
nice precise flying and good videoing too.
Real nice Some kick ass flying there

What an awsum plane and pilot.
Big awesome plane and doesn't use the left stick except to push throttle up. Use the rudder on take off.

GeoDrone not when you use your elevators to “descent” while inverted
Holy cow that's a big rc plane
AC this size could have easily carry a human load. Do agricultural spraying, land inspection and many more.

Darn things so huge it can fit a good sized kid inside! Why not go all the way and build a full size plane?
Fantastic !!! 😎 puede ir un nene de 6 u 8 años ? Se lo compro ya ! Para Reyes 🤗
Another 40% larger and you could fly it from inside the aircraft.
Yeah, just need to replace the engine with a Kawasaki 440, and we are good to go

It almost looks big enough to carry someone inside. just an educated guess, I don’t know for sure whether or not it can actually carry someone.

There should be a go pro camera inside the cockpit to simulate what it would be like from inside.
L2FlyMN or you could fly a real plane and not have to simulate
Or fly my drone, but yes, nothing like real flight for sure!
Harika hem model hem pilotaj......
Is it just me or does it sound very ruff at low idle? Great plane!
What stoped the maker from just going full size ?????/
I look at people's huge scale models and I wonder why the hell they didn't get their pilot licence and build them self a 1:1 scale!?
Fear of flying maybe ?
It is certainly not the same rhelm.
You don’t even need a license if it’s an ultralight, and there is ultralight Cubs.
How much weight could that carry on a full tank of fuel?
Çok güzel çok başarılı emeğinize sağlık
The plane is awesome, the pilot needs to work on rudder skills keeping the plane in a straight line down the runway.
Why not build a 100% scale?
I want a Lamborghini RC this big
Wow very cool
Can I take a ride on it😂😂😂😂 it look so nice I like it nice video 👍👍
amazing skill but can ever understand why anyone would fly such a large toy plane so unscale like? What's the point??
FFS! Just make it slightly bigger and get in it!
I don't understand the reason for having an RC model this big
Cause he can
So when you hit something it looks more real
@@therealjeff-0459 Maybe some people are medically not premitted or able to fly an airplane.

Nice plane. Engine would use some tuning. And piloting skills would use some tuning as well.
Where did you get those tires?

I have never seen a real plane do some of those maneuvers!
