Hey guys, our next episode is going to be a very special one. For the first time ever, Steve Donziger agreed to a 3 hour sit down on camera to tell his story. If you are unfamiliar with Steve's story, I would highly suggest you simply start with his Wikipedia page. For 31 years, he has been at war with Chevron over the environmental disaster they inflicted on the Indigenous tribes of Ecuador. It is an insane tale with twists and turns -- and I can't wait for you guys to hear it. Thank you for watching this episode with Paul -- and please **SUBSCRIBE** & LIKE the video! 🙌

I feel like with Lex, everything is structured in a way that it doesn’t feel like homework but more of a cool project you’re working on. Just fun enough for it to not feel like homework. With JD I feel like everything is ad libbed and you get a chance to be super personable. And with Rogan, it’s more of his guests finding out he has no ego and then feeling comfortable enough to completely open up. Once that intimidation factor is gone the guests get really comfy

Love this podcast!!!!! Paul is amazing! He's also totally right about the Mammoth cloning being overhyped. The dna they have is insanely fragmented/damaged and the hybridizing with an elephant will have all sorts of unpredictable genetic complications. Has there ever been a lab-created hybrid of an extinct animal that was successful at scale? They can't survive without learning from other mammoths and I don't think a mother elephant could teach a baby mammoth to survive in siberia. Also, something like 50% of all animals' bodies are made up of microscopic cells that do not share their dna. How would we bring back a healthy mammoth microbiome? There was an episode of episode of Steven RInella's Meateater with a geneticist working on Mammoths that went into it. Worth listening to. Thanks for the episode!!!

Still watching. In 2000's bengal tiger population in India was 80. 80!!! The bengals have survived thanks to a little country based north of India down the Himalayan called Butan. There tigers are gods and human can not attack them. We have to understand tiger is a lonely animal wich one tiger needs huge amount of land to himself. Thanks ancient cultures that preserves somehow a wisdom we lost centuries ago.

What are the odds of getting Shawn Ryan back on to have an update of his life since the last interview?
He’s busy as fuck I know, but you and him have solid back and fourths as well as he has insight into our current climate that normal eyes don’t see.
Also fuckin love these Paul episodes. He needs to reach out to musk for star link access to help his mission. Musk would happily help I think.

Paul Rosolie reminds me of a good friend who sold his property on St Barth’s to move to the Costa Rican rainforest to help preserve it. Because of his creds & intention the CR government sold him a huge parcel of land in the forest with an existing structure fitted with modern amenities b/c he planned to open a scientific research facility. This buddy worked professionally with big cats and kept tropical birds (touracos, quetzals, etc) and rare orchids in Westchester NY before he left the states. It’s interesting b/c I’m from the same NYC neighborhood as Paul -Dyker Heights, Bklyn and my original career path was marine biology. Family dynamics kept me in the city after high school but I’ve retained all the info I’ve compiled since my (animal loving) childhood. Our lives were on a similar trajectory until high school when they diverged; he chose the “road not taken” and I admit to being a bit jealous. Amazing interview, you have a new subscriber & best wishes to Paul in all his future endeavors.

Near the end of the podcast, Paul said the uncontacted tribes have 7 foot arrows.
Do they use these arrows only against outsiders?
Or do they use them against something else too?
