This video is an eye opener. We till date had heard about lit fest as some controversies, Salman Rushdie, ban on some personality or some bigwigs. This video makes you feel how how you claim to know( from WhatsApp University) and how much you need to know. It's a realisation that I can only know through reading. That's that only way. Don't believe what is being talked about in social media. I am impressed.
Thank you for giving us a tour of the lit fest. Did note some of the book titles. Will be reading them soon. “History based on personalities” being an olden time practice, is an important observation. How the lens of history authors turned towards processes and phenomena rather than personalities as part of evolution of the historical lens, is something to be noted in context of the direction history is taking in the current socio-political environment.

This video is an eye opener. We till date had heard about lit fest as some controversies, Salman Rushdie, ban on some personality or some bigwigs. This video makes you feel how how you claim to know( from WhatsApp University) and how much you need to know. It's a realisation that I can only know through reading. That's that only way. Don't believe what is being talked about in social media. I am impressed.
6:40 is the most funny part about doctors and engineers and last part of Kifi Kazmi poetry was awesome. Great episode overall.

“History based on personalities” being an olden time practice, is an important observation. How the lens of history authors turned towards processes and phenomena rather than personalities as part of evolution of the historical lens, is something to be noted in context of the direction history is taking in the current socio-political environment.
