- It's a quiet start on Magaluf nightlife, in Majorca in April 2024 as the MacMaster joins me for a walk around Magaluf at night
In this video, after 13 hours of filming in other locations around the island, we checked out the Magaluf nightlife for the 2024 season.
You will see how busy it was as we filmed at around 10 - 11pm, so if you are coming over to party, then listen to the advice at the end of the video.

I remember Morgan’s bar from way back, 2008 I think it was. Stayed at the fiesta jungla just down the road. Which I doubt exists anymore.

Boabab used to be called 'The captains arms' and was closed in 2019 and didnt reopen until 2024 (about a week ago)
Zepplins is a great place, while not my kind of music i have been with friends and had a good time.
Silent discos, terrible. I think its a way of again getting around music licenses losses? (Capitol bar other side of the road to JD also offers a silent disco)
You're quite right the strip is alive from about midnight to about 6am. I believe the road is closed come midnight (apart from taxi and emergency)
Great choice for the red lion been a firm favorite of mine for many years now, shame they charged €6 a pint last season at night though.
Yeah, the silent disco really is a bit strange concept I think... but better than nothing I guess but still, you can't beat actual music.. it's a bit more social too.
Will be there on 9th May for 12 days. Baobab is definitely new. It wasnt open in October when we came

Stayed at the Samos is very noisy next to BCM 😮
Is bcm nightclub still there ?went. Few times in the early 90’s.
BCM still there but not as many floors, ones now called ‘Titos at BCM’ titos is owned by same owner and was originally in Palma before being sold and the name moved to BCM.
Were there now and how can it be the start of the season the place is flithy when we're the paths etc làst had a clean paths are all uneven
Good video Lee looked a little out of his comfort zone. Silent disco great idea just look stupid. Thanks Alex.
The silent disco also does not stay silent for long because the issue is people then sing along to the words of the song, but now they have such loud music in their ears they're now screaming the words, which is maybe worse than the actual music track being played out loud and shouting at their mates at top volume! Its fun to people watch though and guess what they're listening to.
HAHAHA, the revenge of the silent disco! Love it!
@dianeleahy - we'd been filming for 13 hours previously, and I dragged him out. Both lacking energy on this one, and he wasn't being the MM on this vid... just helped me out (it's always hard to find someone to come with me here!)
When does it get busy, I’m going mid may?
Mid May it should have picked up a fair bit. Peak would be from Mid June to end of August for the strip, I’ve been in May plenty of times and still plenty about but not as busy as the peak couple of months. You’ll be fine.

Chaplins went a few years ago now. Its now called Galaxy!
McMaster seems a bit subdued, not like him.
He wasn't MacMastering - but just coming around with me! We'd been out for 13 hours that day...and both pretty shattered but he agreed to accompany me around Maga at that time of the evening!
