My brother was a medic in Vietnam. He ran around the jungle saving people and dragging the dead back so their family could give them a proper burial. He earned a purple heart. Several years after he got home he developed leukemia from agent orange. This country didn't do crap for him and he died. We need to take care of the people who allow us to live free.

I wish I had caught this live. But I really appreciated the honesty of these guests and really honor the vulnerability. It's refreshing to see men showing their emotions and speaking their truth. Thank you all, and especially Rex and Adam for this episode. And finally, thank you for your service to those who protect us.

I'm always late but I take time. For this reason. Never miss the blessings. I think family dynamics teach us more in common than the purposes that bring us here. I mean we just know. Then we become teachers and the students. God bless us in the healing

Adam not sure if you will see this because I am watching it much later than when you were on, but my comment is that I actually saw awhile back on my local news there is actually a place someone has thatis a cow hugging farm I can't remember where it is but I was so surprised when I heard that because I knew you had spoke about hugging a cow that you were challenged to do that! Love listening to Will talking about his life and how he was able to get his life back and heal from his problems and now helping others! Thanks Will for telling your story! So proud of you keep up the excellent work! Love ❤❤❤from AKRON, OHIO

Congratulations to Will on finding Recovery!! What a blessing it was to him to get that 2nd DUI, an easier wake up call than what it could have been had hit gotten in an accident or something!! I could sense a shift in Will to greater happiness when he began speaking about helping others through equine therapy. 💛 Keep going Will, us Optimists are cheering you on!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🎉

Man, Adam, I hope you take up the horse therapy. I worked with a large horse rescue for over 10 years. Most of our rescue horses came from off the track. These horses came to the rescue scared to death . Most of their young lives they were abused. If they weren't performing up to others expectations they were hit, they were not fed well because a horse that doesn't perform well isn't worth the $ for proper food. I loved working with these abused babies because they just sucked up positive attention and love. When we saw the results we were getting with the horses we decided to do horse therapy for people. And low and behold the best horses for the humans were the horses that came in abused and were turned around and started trusting people again. These horses then helped people to heal from whatever trauma they had. I have watched healing through horses for many years and I am praying hard that you give horse therapy a try. I hope you let us know if you do. Prayers for you and Rex. You are two wonderful men. Top of the line guys.

This was an amazing episode. Will, I appreciate your vulnerability and transparency. What a great example for your fellow devil dogs. So many people, and not just those who serve or have served in the military and first responders can learn from your experiences, and path to recovery and healing.

This was really interesting. I was bullied and told my parents. That was the worst thing i could do as my parents didnt help me at all in fact they blamed me. And made it worse. My parents are still married. I am a only child and they fought physically / verbally etc throughout my childhood. I dont think they could handle anything aside from their own issues. I did seek therapy as a adult and my therapist said you get to decide(how u live your life and who you have in it..) I would always tell therapists i didnt understand the constant fighting with my parents and i wanted it to change. The last therapist helped me.. He said you can't change anyone. You can only change yourself. That is the dynamic they have in their marriage and it works for them., you dont have to understand it. You can however set boundaries for yourself , and chose not to be around that type of behavior. Its like I had to give myself permission that it was ok to live life without all the drama. By the way, we rescued a thoroughbred horse . Horses are very healing and therapeutic!!!! Thanks for such great guests!❤
