@@fasolaru8674..the community don't explain in detail unless you go on a Forum where everyone shares information..I think a better description is this is a Fan Remake of the Original..that's the way I see it..they call them hacks..any genuine ROM that has been altered is classed as a Hack..it's a general slang term..some purists don't approve of any changes..I know of one who doesn't..I approve of high quality changes like this..hope this helps you to research more..just keep Googling and you'll find links to so much more

I really recommend getting Sam's Journey for Famicom or NES. I bought Physical and Digital. I went with Famicom.
Sam's Journey looks wonderful, it doesn't even look like it's from NES, it's amazing what they did.
