I was watching this and thinking that the universe was having a bit of a laugh at your expense on this day out (shotgun bases, blank buttons, random lumps of iron etc) and then you suddenly turned up that fantastic Roman coin! I'd be dancing a jig if I pulled something like that out of the ground. So nice to see you back on the land turning up bits of metal again. I've missed your uplifting detecting videos. Congrats on the coin and hope you're not feeling so out of sorts by now.
Glad you’re feeling better, sometimes you just have to get out there and do it. I get it though, you know it’s going to make you feel better but the illness convinces you that you shouldn’t be doing it. Good on ya Kris, Look after yourself
That first brassy thing reminds me a frame to an old hanging oil lamp. Wow, a 4 ring Minie Ball bullet... unusual. Very neat as was the Roman x 2. Good fun for the mind and soul out there.

Think of me as your bonus, benevolent, much more Australian parent, trying to help you adapt to the new English environment where the sun is hot and finally succeeds in penetrating the atmosphere. I would hate for sun damage of your milky complexion to prematurely halt your modelling work. 💖
Its called getting old man you are not 21 anymore cant take the knocks i fell off my bicycle recently for the first time since i was a teen im only 38 but broke bones the lot lol age catches up with ya

I've metal detected for 11 years, still havent found a Roman or a Hammered coin but to be fair I've mostly done beach detecting.
