Beautifull scenery from PPenh station through green countryside with scenic khmer palm trees on the flooded rice fields along the way to Kampot. A real professionel photographer for sure.
That was my first time traveling with the train in Cambodia as well. Really loved the journey. Was blown away by the scenic countryside view and surrounding nature. Looking forward to exploring more places with the train 🙌🏻
@@kimsjourneyyy Wow that’s a great price. Some people (Khmer young guys) paid that much just going from Kampot train station to their hotel (as seen on video). I heard that Kampot to Kep area is about 30 minutes? Thanks for all the info, as they will be useful as I am planning to visit Kampot next January. I have never been to Kampot before.
Generally speaking, there’s no fixed rate. It depends on how you bargain the price with the driver. Kampot is really a hidden gem of Cambodia. The place has so much to offer. You’ll love it there. Where will you be traveling from?
@@kimsjourneyyy awesome! I love your videos, they help me a lot in planning for our trip to Cambodia & Thailand. We will plan to take the train from PP to Kampot bc of your beautiful videos
I’m glad you find the video helpful and informative 😊 I’m not trying to be a real RUclipsr or anything. Just wanna share the journey and experience I’m sure you will love the scenic mountain view that the train ride has to offer. where will you be flying from?
Hi. You can download the ‘PassApp’ mobile application. Then, register and book a ride like normally would do in other cities across Cambodia. Depends on the destination you want to go to in Kampot, the waiting time might take a while
@@kimsjourneyyy Thanks for the information sister. I plan to travel by train too. By the way do you recommend Bamboo Bungalow? Is the price acceptable and any website I can book?
If your starting point is PP, I would highly recommend taking the train. It’s convenient and efficient. Personally, we love Bamboo Bungalow and were satisfied with our stay. The price is affordable compared to other nearby places. You can make an online reservation at www.agoda.com/bamboo-bungalows/hotel/kampot-kh.html?cid=1844104
Hi! Kep station wasn’t our final station and the train only stopped for a very short time. I didn’t have the opportunity to get off the train and record the scenery
The train is very vital to get from A to B destinations.
I love it how the bungalows are built nestled into the trees. It’s so beautiful and yes, the lakeside seating is also fabulous. Great video!

We loved the train from sihanoukville to kampot also. So relaxing and beautiful scenery! Nice vlog :-)
Glad you enjoyed it :) I haven’t been to Sihanoukville for many years now. Will definitely fit it into my trip itinerary the next time I go visit

How much was it for your trip back from Kep beach to Bamboo Bungalow in Kampot?
Did you refer to the cost of transportation? If yes, I think we paid around 20,000R ($5) and the TukTuk driver was really friendly :)

How did you order Passapp
Hi. You can download the ‘PassApp’ mobile application. Then, register and book a ride like normally would do in other cities across Cambodia. Depends on the destination you want to go to in Kampot, the waiting time might take a while
Pass app, like the others transport apps, it's the short way to kill all the small little transport businness.
are there any toilets on the train?
Hi. I believe there’re bathrooms on the trains but I haven’t tried any of them myself
This train is from Thailand.
Yes, there’re some trains that were manufactured in Thailand
Is it easily book passapp in Kampot sister?
Yes! It was quite convenient for us to book a ride with PassApp. If the destination is in the city, the waiting time is generally very short.
