I will definitely be back. This was my first time in Croatia and I’ve already loved the country. The trip was short but I enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks a lot for suggestions all the nice places. Will add them to the itinerary for my next visit :)

​@@kimsjourneyyy Also in continental Croatia you'll find magical and beautiful baroque era city of Varaždin, amazing medieval castles like Trakošćan and Veliki Tabor, Kumrovec - interesting and picturesque open air ethno museum - village with preserved traditional Zagorje region architecture and museum of Josip Broz Tito birthplace, ... There's also Star shaped Karlovac old city centre, Sisak triangular 16th century fort, old towns of Samobor, Čakovec, Đurđevac, ... In eastern Croatia you'll also find amazing places: city of Osijek - beautiful destination at the Drava river with amazing old town in baroque star shaped fort, Slavonski Brod - city with grand star shaped fort, beautiful old Franciscan monastery, amazing Sava river promenade and large central square encircled with beautiful old Habsbourgs empire era buildings, beautiful town of Požega with famous nearby Kutjevo vineyards, small town of Đakovo with ornate old cathedral and renowned Lippizan noble horse stables, medieval Ilok with interesting walls, palace and vineries with some world class vines (some of them were served at the Great Britain Royal coronations!), Vukovar for it's huge historical importance during the 90s Croatian war of independence, with several great museums, Baranja region beautiful old villages and amazing food and vines, Kopački rit nature park, Papuk nature preserve... And this is still not the full list since it would be so hard to make a complete list of all interesting places that certainly deserve to be visited!

I couldn’t remember the company name. There’re many of them in Kampot province. The ticket normally costs around $10

We went in June 2022. If I remember correctly, it was around $20/night. The price totally depends on the date & room type

Did you refer to the cost of transportation? If yes, I think we paid around 20,000R ($5) and the TukTuk driver was really friendly :)

@@kimsjourneyyy Wow that’s a great price. Some people (Khmer young guys) paid that much just going from Kampot train station to their hotel (as seen on video). I heard that Kampot to Kep area is about 30 minutes? Thanks for all the info, as they will be useful as I am planning to visit Kampot next January. I have never been to Kampot before.

Generally speaking, there’s no fixed rate. It depends on how you bargain the price with the driver. Kampot is really a hidden gem of Cambodia. The place has so much to offer. You’ll love it there. Where will you be traveling from?

Hi. You can download the ‘PassApp’ mobile application. Then, register and book a ride like normally would do in other cities across Cambodia. Depends on the destination you want to go to in Kampot, the waiting time might take a while

That was my first time traveling with the train in Cambodia as well. Really loved the journey. Was blown away by the scenic countryside view and surrounding nature. Looking forward to exploring more places with the train 🙌🏻
