Well congrats on the new machine! Looking forward to some machining content.
I have been rewatching the mini lathe series, very enjoyable.
Thanks for sharing the progress in the shed
Cheers
G'day Rick, thanks Mate, will do for sure. Cheers.
Great update and very happy to hear you are considering making some parts for the Z32, count me in as one of your first customers. Also glad to see the project updates more often now that you have received the seal. Looking forwards to more updates
Thanks Rob, Cheers.
Good to see you back mate. The mill will be a good addition to the shop. You can never have too many machines. 👍
G'day Ricky, thanks Mate. very true. wish I had more space though. Getting a bit cramped in here. Cheers.
Totally agree with the front valance. That's the direction I'd like to go in. I also think the way it continues the wheel arch down but seems to be less of a curve improves the side profile a lot.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Cheers Craig.
👍
The body kit is going to look awesome although not quite sure about the colour black for the sills.
No stopping you now with the new milling machine
G'day peter, its starting to shape up. Sills are going to be the main silver colour, just the side lips on the bottom are going to be black, knowing me I probably said it wrong in the video.Cheers Mate.
I’ll definitely be a customer for some parts!
Me too!
I actually had a similar issue you did with gktech front diff mount bushes...for now I'm running them, but would definitely buy some of your custom ones if you ever decided to make some for sale 😁
Onya Trev, Mate, if you have the patience to build this puppy, we have the patience to wait for progress!
Thanks Ben, Cheers Mate.
convert progress looks great sure missed you for that long period of time Hope it's not that long for your next video
Cheers Mate, hopefully i'll have something out next week. Delays suck.
Hi Trevor, I thought you had given up the ghost,? but you are back, looking good and that mill has got to be a big step up from the drill press.?
G'day Wayne, Chalk & cheese Mate, so good to be able to chop stuff out in a reasonable time. Cheers Mate.
Looks like you are having fun with the Fairlady. Con
Congrats on your new mill. Are you going to give it the full shed treatment like you did the lathe? Or are you thinking about adding in the full CNC kit.
Anyway, have fun.
G'day Mate, no current mod plans for it yet. Took a ton of work to tram it in though. Seems to be pretty reasonable now. The Mini lathe is still going strong, it gets a lot of use in the shed. very glad I have it. Cheers Mate.
When you say "bar" (front part of the car), is that the same as what we refer in the US as a "bra"? Glad to see you are back, sir.
G'day Rick, the front bumper bar thingy, or what used to be the bumper bar on older cars. we generally refer to them as the front & back Bars. I guess you could call it the nose panel too maybe. Now i'm confused. Cheers Mate.
Would you be able to advise who you got the twinZ sides from, and more importantly the Sill. In the Brisbane area my self with a very similar piece of damage on the drivers side
G'day Mate. TwinZ stuff all has to come from Z1 Unfortunately. Took almost a Year from the time I paid for it. Kinda Sux. Things like the sill can be got from your local Nissan dealership, they will just have to order it in from Japan. Currently a Month turnaround minimum. Amayama online can get all of this stuff too, usually about a six week wait though. Cheers Mate.
@@TheAussieShed legend thanks mate, really appreciated
Bloody tease! you cant just flash us your fancy new milling machine and then not give us a proper walkaround / demo!
G'day Rick, definitely on the cards for the future. Cheers Mate.
