Do not visit Rwanda, it is not worth it

I’ve travelled to 65 countries that includes twelve destinations in the African continent. I loved all of those countries except Rwanda. Rwanda tourism board spends so much money on promoting their country but in fact they have not much to offer. They have a very aggressive approach by overcharging the tourists. Their main tourist attraction is the gorilla trekking . The gorilla trekking sector is organised, but $1,500 does not justify the extremely brief encounter with the gorillas. Other than the gorillas Rwanda doesn’t have anything that worth the visit. Most local businesses also are too aggressive toward scamming and overcharging tourists. The taxi drivers are the biggest scammers in Rwanda. Most Rwandans don’t have proper hygiene and don’t take showers regularly. Everywhere you go the unhygienic body smells are too overwhelming. Most Rwandans do not smile, they extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming toward the tourists. My recommendation to tourists is Instead of wasting money in Rwanda that doesn’t have much to offer go to Tanzania, Kenya or anywhere else but Rwanda unless if you don’t mind getting ripped off and mistreated by the unfriendliness of people of Rwanda. Shame on you Rwanda!
