@@501chorusechoThat’s great man. Super happy to see this. Thanks alot for the reply and I really appreciate all that you do in the music world. Your prolific output and accomplishments are incredible. Homeskoolin’ is the coolest creation ever. Love your records!
Well it's about 2:00 pm here in Brisbane Australia and as I settle down and have a cold beer after a hard day's work I can think of nothing better then hearing uncle Larry playing some fine guitar. Such a pleasure.
I couldn't agree more, although I got of work hours ago and have had several cold ones since. And enjoying fantastic music from Duke Levine , Jedd Hughes (Both are must check outs!) and of course dearest Uncle Larry. Hello from the states fellow classmate!
I also just got off a long bartending shift tonight in Albany NY 1:30 am - playing along and hearing this incredible guitar /human play is the highlight of the Day, Im soo grateful. The best hang/jam bud ever, Cheers man from NY!
Chris Shiflett name dropped you in his Premier Guitar Rig Rundown. He had his BC Rich and said, “Tom Bukovac said they never made good ones after 1980.” Thanks for the music this evening.
Tom, I am convinced, could fall down a flight of stairs with a guitar in hand, and NEVER miss a lick….. soulful, tasteful like honey with these persuasive melodies that float at you from all angles…. Just the way music should be played and heard…..
My face is still sore from all the grinning and jaw dropping from Sat night...thanks for sharing the last of the Yuengling's with me...best night of music I have experienced in a long time. The luck of getting that table amazes me...I brought 3 20 year old kids with me that had never been to a club gig...I had to explain they aren't all like that! Glad to hear Nick has a record coming out...that is an original dude!
In a guitar magazine years back, I remember reading Pete Anderson's comment regarding staying in the idiom during an interview. His advice - "play the bag." Don't mix idioms, in other words. Great wisdom then and now, Uncle Larry. I'm glad to have streamed both nights last weekend. You guys were on fire!
Nothing makes a Homeskooler happier than when our dear Uncle Larry lists all the reasons to be happy in life. Musical goals/projects, dear friends, kids, pool, and on and on. Life is good.
Huff's video came up on my suggestions I watched it yesterday. They must have put it there because he mentioned your name and RUclips knows how much I dig this channel
I drove solo to the show Saturday from Wisconsin. We are also still beaming from the all the love and emotion that was abound on the stage and in the crowd. What a special night thanks🎶❤️
Man do I agree with you about idioms...what I love about Jimmie Vaughn is how he serves the song. You are a masterful tone painter...I love the circle of musicians you're jammin' with. You can feel the joy in the jam!
When he leaned over and looked at the camera and said "I wouldn't be surprised if there was an album coming with all three of us" I flipped right out of that spreadsheet and liked the video. I love putting these videos on while I work.
My purchase of the In Stereo record led me to spend $1K on a really great turntable, because I have not had one for 20+ years. Sounds incredible through my dad’s old Onkyo receiver and JBL L100 Classic speakers which recently landed at my house. I had forgotten how good a record can sound through a great stereo system. Thanks Tom!
I like to think I'm a devout minimalist, preaching the gospel of the 1-4-5, but when Chris Squire plugs that 4001 into the SVT, I fall from grace. Forgive me Muddy, for I have sinned.
“… we’re tryin’ to make guitar cool again…”. Made me laugh. If anybody can, it’s you guys for sure! You and your buddies are the most honest, soulful players on RUclips, hands down.
Cool, thanks Tom. Been a fan of Dann since '89 & still have those first 2 Giant CDs. Always wondered what he was up to, until seeing him on the Homeskoolin' program. It made total sense to me. I know he's a great guitarist.
Just sitting here practicing and my phone pings the notification......."new Homeskoolin". Perfect timing. Thanks Starship Trooper. Fun jamming with you.
Thanks Tom. I started smiling the second you began playing that insane sounding and looking Les Paul. Appreciate this channel so much, 🙌especially on rough days at work/in life.
I started writing a long rambling here but I'll just say that I'm a really thankful for the inspiration you give me. Both musically and in your demeanor if that's the word. The way you carry yourself and the reputation you've built by being a stand up straight talking and loving person. Many cheers!
Im glad to hear you're bringing Jedd into your circle of sound! That fella has a way of playing guitar that paints pictures of beautiful places in my mind.
Soulful playing again brother. Awesome. Another thing that's awesome is that FOOTBALL! is about to start! Man, I can't wait. Nice to see that pic above your left shoulder again.
Started listening to your "In Stereo" double Lp. The album is great, very creative and sounds excellent - Guthrie and you mesh so well. You guys are so talented. Love it !
G’day Tom , so glad I discovered your channel . Always looking forward to a new episode and love watching the older ones . You’re making me a better player 🍻🇦🇺
Grooving on your opening statements until Dear Mr. Fantasy emerged. Huge smile came out of nowhere. What a melody, what a progression. And what an incredible range you constantly demonstrate. Thanks for putting it all out there for us Larry
I'm still blown away from last Friday & Saturday night IN Stereo shows! It was a pleasure meeting you, GT and Jedd! Can't wait till next show! Thanks for sharing Uncle Larry!

You have some beautiful music in your soul my friend. Thank you for recording/sharing it with us. Love the Mr. Fantasy nod! I’m currently binging the Traffic discography while at work and your video popped up. Very cool. Have a beautiful day homeskoolers! ✌️
Loved the videos on RUclips of your gig last weekend with Guthrie. Am also following Gutherie Trapp's and Jedd Hughes' channels. You guys have your own styles and I enjoy each one. Just read the interview you and Guthrie did with Alan Paul for the October GUITAR PLAYER magazine. Well done. Thank you again for all you share with us.
Agree, music always originates from a particular culture. Every time we touch our instrument we play in a particular style originating from somewhere. In western commercial music we have lost sight of this or deny it, or are ignorant of it. You have to be "well read" in music as in everything else to know what the hell you are doing. Thanks Tom.
Oh my that is such a beautiful sounding LP top is gorgeous. I just got my first Epiphone Wilshire w 90s . Ecept they don't sound like yours! I'll track some down and then I'll be happy, lol Another great video thank you. Doug 😎

Uncle Larry just nails Long Distance Runaround out of the blue! Your about the only guitar player I know besides myself that would go from Steve Howe to the New York Dolls I only recently discovered your channel and am trying to catch up! Love your playing !
Just finished mix #10 for nicky G! this shit rules

Dear Mr. Fantasy! Dig your riffs!

In Townsville Australia enjoying every lick what a master

Great Fooking playing Tom! Sitting here after a gig that was almost sideways, but turned out to be way fun! You make me smile brother!

❤hey Tom. You make idiometry otherworldly ❤by the good way, Jedds Blue Sky is SOLID , that song feels my soul
Dann Huff’s ‘dude….’ Uncle Larry impression was good but Keith Urban nailed it dead on whilst giving you some love in the recent Beato interview.
I like how you have the camera set to show what you are playing on the neck. Your playing has so much feel and emotion. Love you.
I am always amazed at the bad remarks people make towards pentatonic scale's. Like two more notes make it so more highly intelligent.

"stay in the idiom" up there with "musical nutrients" part of the required Homekoolin lexicon. Great stuff.
Possibly my favorite Yes song. As always, spot on!
Make hay while the sun shines Uncle Larry and friends. I'm fucking loving, guitar centric music that's not a pissing contest.
I watched the Dann video the moment it dropped. What a humble, talented cat.
