The exposure that Cagayan De Oro, Zamboanga City and the other cities Mark is venturing into these last few days / weeks is AMAZING for the locals. Thanks, Mark! I don't live in the Philippines, but I'm happy to see my people are getting the exposure and attention they deserve.

I"M SO PROUD OF MY FELLOW ZAMBOANGENOS TO REPRESENT US SO WELL ^^ the food is so good, yet so underrated. Im glad we're getting coverage from a big channel like yours :]]]
It's so cool for Mark to visit my mother's hometown. I was there way back in 2023 and I had a blast in terms of the different food choices that I don't usually have when I'm in Metro Manila. From sati, tiyula itum, kuracha, to knickerbockers, my foodie heart is very happy. Hoping to go back there again in the future. : )
one thing is always recognize all the filipino videos so far, people are so much more friendlier and happier than in germany... its amazing to see that!
I was sure Mark will enjoy the southern Philippines. I remember the first time he visited, I was hoping he will discover more of the Philippines because we are not just adobo, lechon or fried street food. Glad he did.
Oh my gosh! I'm an hour late! but just wow!😮 I'm so happy and smiling watching this right now..finally Mark, you came to Zamboanga..and I've commented this many times, that you have, no MUST try Tyula itum! and im so thankful seeing you liked it and enjoying our other TaoSug dishes..for 10 yrs.now I've been ur follower and a fan as well..this just made my night ! I'm happy that Mark Weins went to Mindanao, Mostly grow up in Manila but its nice knowing more outside of luzon cause most videos i watch about Philippines, especially about food, Mindanao rarely get mentions so love learning foods from down under of the Philippines. might try making some of this recipes as much as close as i can..
Glad to know you found time to visit our exotic ciudad de Zamboanga. Its about time ( in fact its long overdue) our local cuisine is given the much needed promotion and exposure , allowing us to showcase our exquisite food for the world to see and hopefully relish. Welcome to Zamboanga!
First time I've ever seen Zamboanga Pinoy food showcased in a food blog, and the only dialect I'm fascinated with in chavacano. I see the malay/Indonesian influence here, ang sarap! Good stuff Mark, your guide really made a difference in this series!
