Thanks! I was advised to avoid putting anything on my nails as well while we tried to figure out what was triggering the flare ups. There are still a lot of things that I've used for years that will cause them, but the worst of it seemed to have come from wearing my glasses. I'm just in the process of trial and error now to learn what skincare and makeup I can no longer use.

Hair is super cute!! The one you're calling a "yellow" reads as more of a baby-grass green to me. I actually love it as a bright fresh green!! (I feel like this collection doesn't seem to have a true yellow.)

Thank you! I had to cut it to even out regrowth from postpartum hair loss. Then when it started growing back some of it was white so I decided to go back to highlights rather than dye my whole head to just cover a few white hairs.

Thank you! There are several things that I used for years that I can’t use on my face anymore (a specific foundation, vitamin C serum, retinol) so my glasses are just one of many things. They were just the main culprit for a while because I had them in my face all day, not knowing they were why it wasn’t clearing up.
I LOVE this whole collection. So sorry about your allergy reactions. Good luck getting to the bottom of the cause. You will figure it out but it can take awhile. For my son it was a certain pollen he spontaneously developed a reaction to. We found out finally from an allergist who did this pin-prick test on his back of a bunch of suspected culprits then measured the size of the resulting hives :O In the meantime though his immune system was so over-reactive he was reacting to EVERYTHING. Even soap. It eventually calmed down.
I'm a sucker for shades like It's High Time. All the formulas look nice. I'm really into jellies and crellies right now I'd love to see a jelly like that. Sorry about your allergies...the trial and error can be so frustrating.

It’s MAC Freckle Tone and it’s pretty old 🙈. It’s probably not showing true to color here because I usually crank up the saturation and warmth in my intro footage to counter how much RUclips washes my face out after the video is uploaded.

I’m good! Just in the middle of a long trial and error process trying to figure out what I can and can’t use anymore. Now that I’m not wearing my glasses everyday, the flare ups have a change to clear up relatively quickly if I use something that irritates my skin. Before we realized my glasses were a major factor, it was just constant irritation.
jess, did you have covid / did this start after having covid? not that you need to answer, but if yes, i have friends who started having weird allergy (and other) problems after covid.
I did, but this started over a year after I had it. I haven't noticed anything else unusual after having it, other than the fact that I just get sick a lot more often now (covid was the first time I had had as much as a cold in 6 years. Now I've had like 5 colds since). It could be that or it could be hormone shifts from having a baby too. Though that was also over a year prior. Or maybe it's just because I'm getting elderly 😂
I'm so sorry you are having such a hard time with allergies. You can do videos without showing your face and *gasp* women are allowed to not wear makeup. I understand if you don't want to do that but I just wanted to remind you that you are allowed to show your bare face and it is just a burden that society has placed on women to always look our best and do a lot of extra things that men never have to give a second thought to. Thanks! I've done plenty of videos without showing my face, I don't like to do it but it's not the end of the world if I have to. The main issue is that I was advised to stay away from nail polish/products as well, in case that was causing the irritation from touching my face.
