Alex Turner is the perfect man in my opinion. He is funny, intelligent, so amazingly good looking! and talented. Plus he just seems like such a nice guy! You can just tell he is in his right element here, being together with his best friend, talking about music and getting the chance to elaborate on their working process, the songs etc. Great interview!

They mentioned it a bit in the beginning how he kind of inspired/knew their producers that ended up helping them with the album concept. People always said that Alex, Miles or even Arctic Monkeys are very aloof when it comes to interviews and can often border a bit unprofessional given how much they don't care about the press. But this actually just shows how private they really are, their close circle even their bandmates and gangs in LA were mates from their hometowns. This is why the interview is so coherent and engaging, because they're almost like having a drink and a chat with a mate about their love of music instead of being the professional "rockstars" everyone projected them to be
