I've just returned to this interview and realised that when Alex gets talking about music he's actually very coherent. From about 5:10 to about 6:20 he does really well (by his standards) talking.
This is the most awkward interview and interview setup. He’s being crowded by the interviewers, who are just staying in frame, and you can sense his claustrophobia from it, plus the questions. I actually felt bad for him. I was like, at least it’s almost over, then saw there was ten more minutes 😂 must have felt like an eternity. But good for him for handling it as well as he could. It also forces him to not really escape any answers cause the only way towards comfort is just answer the questions. It’s great

You guys know what's curious about this interview (awkwardness aside) ? Somewhen by 12:00 mins there's a question that leads a comment about " being the same guys from Sheffield and so on ... " and some years later we have, The Ultracheese, which is a reflection about this topic.
