Arctic Monkeys always has been great. And I really don't understand the people who just complain about AM. I mean, it's a different kind of sound, but Humbug is really different too. I think as a band, they need to experiment different things musically and this album was one of them. Bowie changed a lot too over years and not everyone liked everything he did, just like not everyone will like everything Arctic Monkeys does. They became really famous with this era? Hell yeah. There will be some annoying fans? Always. But in the end, it's all about the music. Just enjoy it and try not to get upset about things that doesn't matter.

Ok can you people stop bashing on AM and their new life-style-thing?
Yes, they've changed a lot. I mean, comparing WPSIA,TWIN (wow that says twin) to AM, there's a drastic change, not only with the music but with the band itself. Note the hairstyles and the girlfriends and the incidents. Don't go around saying "FWN is the best album because Alex wasn't such a stoner dick back then". You know he might be one sometimes but that doesn't mean that you have to bash on his attitude now. I'm proud of how he's changing and how the band's changing. I love how every album sounds different, but you can still tell that it's still them. It will always be Alex, Jamie, Nick and Matt. It'll never change. So try to at least act more open about the different albums and be a bit nicer about Alex's occasional stoner-ness.

Do I Wanna Know, what you all think of the "new" Arctic Monkeys, compared to the "old" Arctic Monkeys? No. They started off fantastic, carried on being brilliant with their second album, went off a little bit in the middle, and have just burst back to form with AM. It's fucking powerful, it's dark, it's rock and roll....the first two albums were everything great about the arctic monkeys, but they added something with AM. So stop bitching and worrying about "which Arctic Monkeys you prefer"....it's the same fucking band

They had a great time in Rio and so did I. That was one of the best gigs I've been to. They're fantastic musicians and that crowd was insane.
I think they're great musicians, no matter how old can be their fans or how it be their hairstyle... whatever. They're just great, amazing quality, great sound, listen to them on live it's amazing. Alex is a great composer and guitarist (totally love his voice) and Matt Helders is an espectacular drummer that I totally admire.
I hope that they keep making music and that the "break" doesn't take so long. Thanks for visit south america, You're welcome in Chile!

I have never seen so many FANS bitch about their artist this much. I personally enjoy their old and new stuff. Yes the new album sounds almost all the same as far as beat goes, I but I still adore the album no less.

This brought me back to the time I went to their concert. October 30 which I won't forget. Hearing them live made coming back to headphones difficult but their music is like no other. Always going to play it on repeat until I fall asleep.

the arctic monkeys are perfect no matter what they do. they could make any kind of music and i would listen to it. if you don't like the fact that their music and image has changed, then you're not a true fan; you would love them no matter what. you know it get's kind of boring if you make music that sounds the same as stuff you've made before and what other people have done. you gave to change things up every once and a while. these guys are so unique and awesome! there really is no one else like them.
