Imagine a world without planes. Well, imagine no more, as VICE looks to the future of travelling sustainably with their new environmental guide to getting around the planet. In this series, childhood friends Bupe Bhima & Matt Shea travel to countries across Europe by train, ferry, coach, bicycle and electric car to lower their carbon footprint but still have a banging vacation while doing it.
In episode two of World Without Planes, we hop on a 20-hour party train from Amsterdam to Budapest, bathe in tubs filled with beer, eat at Robert De Niro and Steven Spielberg’s favourite Jewish restaurant and party again at an illegal art rave.

@@ashiltokhai6673 I think it really depends on how much luxury you want and how many days you would go. The train was around 200 and the festival ticket around 250 euro's. But ofcourse you have to think about extra money for the camping spot and other costs. But all in all. The fact that you could see the best artists, have loving people around you and dance on the island for that amount of money, was totally worth it! Hope to have answered your question.

@@AdmiralFroggy Vegas is one of the lamest party cities I've ever been too. Budapest was top 3. Even on a Tuesday, you gotta go once it's opened again.
Loved Budapest. Spa rave, getting hammered by the Danube, partying from 7pm to 7am and you could hardly spend money in the place it was so cheap. Also beautiful city.
Oh yes. I got spiked while attending a 250 jagerbomb train.

A friend of mine actually fare dodged on this train lol. From Budapest to Rotterdam hiding in the train super high on xtc and not sleeping. Eventually he got caught in holland but not on the party train but on his next 5 min train ride. Gotta love dutch efficiency

as a Budapestian, and an avid Sziget Festival attendee, this hit too close to home. With Sziget being cancelled this year, my heart broke a little
So this was filmed in 2019 and Vice scrapped it because it was badly done. But this year, they decided to upload it due to lack of better content.
