Wow! Sharay is one of my favorite bass players hands down. What an incredible player! Very inspirational indeed. You can tell that Sharay is listening to everything. His use of space, pocket, and groove is incredible. He's not doing a thousand runs walking all over the other instruments or vocals. His execution of any runs or licks is very well placed and intentional. When he plays a run, it compliments the music and creates interesting moments in the music, allowing the song to breathe and takes you on a journey. I wish I could be sitting near his amp to feel the thump of that groove! That groove will put the hump on your back! Ha! My face is still scrunched up even while writing this comment because the groove and pocket was so thick! Hey man, if you're reading this, thank you for sharing these videos.
