This part was particularly ridiculous for me. That Lucifer - Samael, Satan, Ruler of Hell, Evil Incarnate, Punisher of Souls - couldn't recognize Cain.

So I do believe that they already met, but it could very well have been when Cain was a child/teenager. Meaning that he looked different back then and that it is why Lucifer didn't recognized him right away. Afterall Lucifer probably went back to Hell before Cain was a grown man ir only to prepare Hell for the sinful human souls to come.
As the first child of the first humans, of course Lucifer would have seen Cain before. However, since then (ya know, all of human history) he has seen about a billion faces give or take a couple billion? So its not odd to me that he would forget what Cain looked like...

@PrinPray this lucifer is just as strong as the comic one hes just more caring and sympathetic plus the comic one doesnt really fight as many people as this one does plus chloe weakens him so that's why he seems weak compared to the comic one even though they're on the same scale of power

I was hoping when he said, "it's her", that he'd reveal she is his great to the x power granddaughter or something, explain the mystery of Chloe. Is she a descendant of Jesus or something? I remember it being brought up, and having something to do with Trixie, but it's rather foggy. Pierce is exhausted after living through B.C, then became a part of DC, got rejected by Lana, had to settle for Lois. Cain has surely had many identities.
Gave his mark to Dean, got a face change, planted his old face on the guy that gave away all his money, Lecter style. He probably thought that was his way to get back at God, give a man his old face and the divine belt buckle, let God wear Cain's image for a few days.

I think I know what the writer is going for here. When a celestial loves a mortal. the celestial becomes mortal.
If you think about it Cain is technically Lucifer's step son because there was a time when Lucifer was with Eve and Cain's biological mother is eve and biologically his father is Adam but his step dad is Lucifer which means he's also the step brother of Rorry and Trixie
Going even further Chloe is technically Cain's step mom because Chloe was once with Lucifer in the beginning of the show. That means he was dating his step mom 😳😳😳

Pierce/Cain (Technically tom welling wasn't really superman. He was clark Kent/Kal-el with powers in smallville series. He was superman for the final episode but tom welling said he hated wearing costumes.)

sure, after a couple of thousands of years he must have an impressive collection of guilty memories to drag him down south. Like killing his friend/son Little Sinnerman. I am sure hell would be far worse than earth. So since Azraels blade is gone, Lucifer needs a way to haul him to the silver city... that would piss Lucifers Dad off!!! Luci would love it ;)

Not at this point, not yet, according to him and lucifer acknowledges this, he doesn’t feel any guilt over doing bad things to what he consider bad people, he didn’t even feel guilty for killing his own brother, because he feels they deserves it, it’s until he accidentally killed someone he didn’t mean to that it got him some guilt, and even then I think it’s mostly lucifer playing trick to get him to feel guilty right before he dies
Guilt wouldn't be what sends you to hell, or most killers wouldn't go. Psychopaths and sociopaths don't really feel guilty for what they do.

And then bring his monster side again, and Pierce is load of bullshit, because as soon his immortality ware off, he suddenly very afraid to die, one thing that I no understand why the producers decided to reboot to the status quo back in Season 1 when Decker find out that Lucifer is truly what he say that he is, in the comics, Lucifer really didn't give a fuck if people discover that he was the actual Devil, have no problems showing his wings and his powers, going back and forth from Earth to Hell, even if only to visit, because he was a very broken character, cold as an iceberg, manipulative and ruthless, literally drained after all his rage ware off, the story would have been much more interesting if Chloe had know from the beginning, imagine how crazy her life would be with that knowledge, but no, they needed more conflict and melodrama between them, some it is worth it, but other it seems that one part intentionally is hurting the other, out of pettiness and self denial.
If you were an immortal for thousands of years what will you do? Read every book? learn every martial arts there is? find ways to invest in thousands of companies? or workout like hell?
I'd do all that and become real world Batman!

it would be though. You see everyone you love die. there's beauty in something BECAUSE IT DOESN'T LAST. Something that lasts forever? You have the same mole you had 40 years ago the same skin 10000 years before that. Looking at my ugly mug for everyday for 10s of thousands of years , fuck that. The same age of however long ago you achieved it. Then there's the catch. You'll only be able to attract the same kind of person ....EVERY....SINGLE....GENERATION. Or attracted to them. Sure you can have flings but eventually youll settle down and realize it gets boring. The petty wars, the small crises (BLM for the 10 to the exponent of infinity) as well as whatever sexual kink exists at that timeframe maybe robots that act like toddlers ( NO ideas hollywood, it won't save your actors, also i will commit die for this cursed comment but my point still stands). I mean hell when was the last time humanity itself had a near extinction event? According to the bible a certain flood. To scientists....well jury's still out on that one. You'd be bored out of your skull waiting for the end that never comes because you achieved something that honestly you have no idea what to do with or how youd react to having it until its too late. Then you're just begging for some way to reverse while everyone else experiences the mercy of death. Did Pierce ever actually love Chloe back, or was she, to his dying day, simply a means to an end?
I haven't watched the third season but being spoiled that Pierce finally managed to die without flaming sword, i assumed he actually loves her back. It takes Lucifer's love for Chloe to make him vulnerable, literally.
Pierce's line when he said it's in his grass, he has her what he wanted but he couldn't hurt her like that (saying i love you to chloe), then there Lucifer and him found out his curse is gone.
