- Is there a certain prayer you have to say? Is there a certain routine you have to go through before you start your prayer?
No. It’s as simple as this. God, please forgive me for I have sinned. I did so and so sin. Please forgive me and help me to overcome this. Yes, it’s as simple as that. You don’t have to overcomplicate it because God doesn’t look at what you say, or what you have to offer… because He CREATED YOU.
He looks at your heart. 1 Samuel 16:7: For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. You could even be too guilty to say anything, but the moment you get in His presence, the moment you CHOOSE to sit and call out for him in silence, he hears you, and he sits right beside you.
God is always with you. There’s nowhere you can go to avoid God. No matter where you are, if you are at your highest moment in life, or if you’re at rock bottom, God is ALWAYS with you.

Repent - To change the way you think. Repenting isn't just words saying sorry. It's about a change of heart, a change of mind. Your sins have already been paid for. As a Christian, it shouldn't even be a thing we should worry about. Just relax, just be calm, be still, and know you are loved. He will lead you into holiness, but it will be effortless. God bless all.

god is sinless yet he repents. "The word's meaning has been changed" they'll say, but if God repents, and God himself doesn't change then neither should that specific meaning change either

means *no works but faith in Christ* can still get you to heaven. which reinforces, to inherit the Kingdom of God, Simply *have faith*
once that's established, everything else comes naturally. Or rather, *once that seed is planted and grown* you can begin to bear fruit (of the holy spirit).

It's so very complicated to repent. I read through Galations today with the fruit of the spirit. All those threats God makes to punish you, it's impossible to rid ALL those from your life. I mean I can try but to succeed is impossible. We're screwed.

to repent for your sins is turning away from sin and to stop doing it now might not be easy at all but as long as you are trying to stop you are making an effort that God is witnessing and appreciating He Loves us and understands our struggles and we are not struggling in them alone Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and also 1 Corithians 10:13-14 You are tempted in the same way that everyone else is tempted. But God can be trusted not to let you be tempted too much, and he will show you how to escape from your temptations. My friends, you must keep away from idols.

I struggle with a specific sin , which is lust and I used to didn’t think I did because it would happen every once in a while but I realize that I struggle very badly with it and I won’t give it to the lord .. and also when ever I don’t do a very big forgiving prayer I feel lil the lord will think I don’t care so that why I kinda refrain from even saying anything .. please pray for me man

So, it's not really just get on your knees and pray, confessing your sins, you need to acknoladge and admit that you have sined and legitemately regret having sined. Otherwise, they're just words with no value to God, right?

I have a doubt though, brother… I find Christian ways very comforting and effective towards my life, lately I am into it a lot and I am happy for that, but is it okay to follow the ways of a Christian as a 14 year old Hindu? I am proud of my religion and I love it but I want a change of pace that is actually effective for me and my Holy Spirit, I can’t bring myself to say to my parents that I want to be a Christian, or I want them to believe in my new lifestyle.

But if you truly believe in your heart that you want to have a relationship with Jesus and God then you should tell them because you should be proud of what you believe like your family is. Does it make any sense for you that only accepting Christ’s sacrifice for your sins wasn’t good enough for you to be saved so you decided to keep repenting of your sins daily?
Does it make any sense for you to be indwelled with the Holy Spirit right after you repented of your sins, and then the Holy Spirit leaves you the following sunrise?
Does it make any sense to you when you think you completely know all the sins you committed each day once you start to repent of your sins before Jesus?
Does it make any sense to you that repenting of your sins is a daily, active work you do to get saved? Does Ephesians 2:8-9 make any sense to you?
Does it finally make sense to you that you don’t earn (daily repentance of your sins) your salvation you just have faith in Christ’s sacrifice for your sins to completely have salvation?

Been there a few days ago. Feels horrible but immediately get back to God no matter how bad you feel or how hopeless it seems. It helps a great deal. He gave me strength to fight it so he will do the same for you. Victory won't be instantaneous but with time and effort, you will get there.

Yesterday I did a lust sin and I said sorry to God and I also said I will do my best to do it again but even after trying my best i did it once more today is it the best i can do . I used to repent and sin over and over again i felt lost… one day I decided to change I prayed 20 minutes asking god to change me and I CHANGED it felt the holy spirit god’s peace life is amazing ever since, and yes i AM HUMAN I slip sometimes but since he changed me I slip but that doesn’t mean i will not rise and continue in the righteous path
Now the problem isn't asking for forgiveness, it's knowing that even after asking for forgiveness, one moment of letting your guard down, or just doing sth stupid and bam... You've committed that same sin for the thousandth time. Then I feel disgusted with myself and so detached from the spirit. Honestly, I just want to stop falling into this sin.
Keep fighting the good fight and surrender all your burdens, anxieties, fears, everything to God. He is eternally Good and will renew your strength. I’m an alcoholic and want to stop drinking but it’s so hard. Everywhere I go theres temptation. Restaurants, family party’s, all my friends and cousins are heavy drinkers.

I'm really trying. I've been struggling with sexual immorality and lustful thoughts because Ive been emotionally bullied, where I begin to think I'm not capable of being loved(in regards to romance). I tried to control myself but the urge and temptations is so strong and I keep disappointing God. I chose to disobey and I feel so unworthy.

Psalm 103:10 ESV. Instead of seeing us for our failures, God sees us for who we are, His own beloved children.
Love is so much more than just romantic love, eros, which our culture conflates it to be. There is also storge (natural affection, as with family), phileo (close friendship), and agape (deep, sacrificial love - which God has for us). Rather than focusing on what not to do, I encourage you to proactively start seeing people for who they are. What are their gifts/talents? What do they care about most? What brings out the joy in them? What are their feelings? What are their hopes and dreams? You can practice this toward anyone you meet, friends, acquaintances, even homeless people begging by the roadside. Yes, we are all made in the image of God. There is so much more to a person than their outward appearance, and recognizing that is a step in the right direction.

It was hard to seek God again due to a lot of false information. Many would tell me that you had to pray in a certain way, or else God will not see your prayer as sincere. This led me to believe that I was truly unworthy of His forgiveness and made me return to sin. I am happy that your video showed up on my recommendations list. God bless you~ ❤✝️🙏🏼
I’m only 15 and I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. I keep hearing different things about how he isn’t real or something. I’ve seen news about earthquakes happening, and people are saying to repent. It’s honestly scary to me.

Repenting from the act of sin, like stealing a candybar from the store is not repentance. Repentance must come from the heart, meaning we must repent from the heart that allowed us to steal... thus, we have a change in mind about stealing that impacts the actions that result. For faith without works is dead.
I pray to God everyday before bed and one of the prayers I say is to forgive me my family and everyone for our sins and to keep doing good things I hope God forgives me and everyone for what we’ve though of done and said God bless you all 🙏🏽✝️❤️

To repent means to change your mind and heart through Christ with Christ. It's more than saying "Lord, forgive me for I have sinned" if we pray we must also act. Just remember that God is always there.

I gotta important question. I have been boxing for the past few years, have had multiple fights, and loved doing it. However, recently, around December last year, I have continually fallen out of love for the sport, and this has occurred simultaneously with the time period that I am researching and learning more about God. Is this a sign from God that I should stop? Because now that I think about it, I used to have valued Boxing over God.

I've been sinning so much against him and it's like a never ending cycle. I realize wha I'm doing is wrong but i still keep falling. And I'm like pretending he's a jenie and I only pray t him to make me feel better about stuff that didn't go my way or something went horrible, I do all these stuff and I feel so terrible and disgusted with my self. I'm literally starting to feel like he got sick of me and left. I need help fast iam a born again Christian and I just sinned again and keep falling in to it here and there and I know in my heart it’s bad but my flesh is weak and I already asked God to help me but I fail him again and again
I always say if you want forgiveness from a person, you need to admit that what you did wrong, acknowledge why it was wrong, apologize for it, promise to try not to do it again, and make amends if possible. That's a lot! But when it comes to forgiveness our sins by The Lord, Jesus Christ made the ultimate amends for us by giving His own life and so intercedes on our behalf. And all we have to do is believe in Him as our savior and repent to the best of our ability and our sins are forgiven and instead of receiving the wages of sin which are death, we receive eternal life!

All wrong. Those who are the called, as in Ro.8:28-30 for example, are "granted/ given repentance unto life." Acts11:18. Furthermore, without first being called of God into His kingdom in the born again saving sense, repentance simple does not exist. Unless given the Holy Spirit of God to dwell within the called, repentance can not exist. Moreover, it is a failing resolute to turn from sin as true repentance requires without knowing the Divine precepts which make sin, sin. In other words, if you are not given life first by God, which salvation is all about, and you do not study Holy Scripture to discover what sins exist in man, and turn from them, you simply are not called, Isa.8:20. The power to repent comes from the Holy Spirit of God, not the unholy spirit of man.

I was wicked and evil for a very long time and live in sins. My life was full of hatred, lust after lust. I found forgiveness, Mercy and Grace ... now I am free of lust and free of porn by crucifying my evil desires and dying to sin daily only through The Grace of The Lord Jesus. There is hope in Christ only when we live in His Grace and in His Kindness and in His Mercy.

I have hade the same stigma believing that I have to say as much as I can to be forgiven for my sins. The Lord knows our heart. He knows everything about us before we even do it or think it. He knows if we are sincere in our repentance. All you have to do is be sincere in your desire to repent, be sincere in your desire to believe in Jesus Christ as your savior, and you are forgiven! There's nothing so big or so bad that the Lord in His infinite grace can't forgive it! Remember, even if you think you have problems believing or repenting, just WANTING to believe and repent is the first step on the road and the Lord knows our intentions and will forgive us.
Repent - metanoia means change of mind, whenever in the new testament it says "repent and believe" its talking about change your mind about Christ and start believing for the kingdom at heaven is at hand.. In the story of Jonah God repented towards nineveh because they turned from their sins which the word of God says was a "work". God has repented, God has no sin, God changed his mind.

What if I forgot what sins I have done? Like cussing or judging someone and then forgetting
repent for being a false god after spreading the gospel , we don't deserve to speak the words of god because we all sin against him , and we not god either that's why and its the fact jesus saves and we not jesus by sinning , not saying you dont have to preach , its just being cautious and if you tell anybody repent for boasting about
Repentace, is not of sin it is a change of mind. Or you would be calling God a sinner but He is not
