Later I felt like I couldn't feel anything, so right as I was about to open youtube I asked God in mind that the first video I see on my feed should be about God, and it was you again. When I was 11-13. I was stuck in bad habits, had anger issues, had the attention span of a goldfish, and i was depressed and very insecure to where I nearly quit this game we call life. And I thought that the very universe itself was against me. I used to only pray to God when I needed a favor. But when I realized that I had been given a wake up call to change, over time I started praying for guidance and strength. And the wisdom to improve and repent. And over time, little by little, my prayers were answered. And as my faith grew, so did my improvement. And now I am 15 years old typing to you with a good attention span, I don't get angry often anymore, I turn away from all bad habits. And toward God. I pray for you to be given mercy and forgiveness. And peace at heart and clarity in the mind. Along with the strength and wisdom to walk with God all the way. Take care.

I have had a rough life from hanging around the wrong crowd and giving into sin; one night, I called out to him and he showed up in my dream when I fell asleep. Then I was overcome with joy that I never felt before, my depression was gone. Keep praying and seeking God because he draws close to those who draw to him. I pray that he continues to guide you into your calling.
16 year old here, I also choose Christ and grew up with a Catholic family, and I choose to follow my parent's paths. Life has been great choosing Christ, but it hasn't been easy with horrible temptations, terrible images im imagining in my brain. I keep praying to myself help me through affliction. I also like to listen to worship music rather than secular music most of the time since it genuinely makes me happier. I like to help my friends out either by being there for them no matter what, listening to them in what they're going through, and praying for their issues. I value every human being as people who are sacred. Still here, going through affliction though, since I've been through some struggles in life, especially with my parents and emotional regulation. I'm hoping that I can fix that. Also here, it's unfortunate knowing that younger children have been exposed to inappropriate content and losing their innocence at younger ages. I always think innocence to be very important and valuable to me. I, myself have been exposed to this type of content before, which is terrible, and has affected my mental state. So far, I'm recovering from the affliction I've had ever since covid.

That's a great testimony Bro. The sign of conviction is how you know that the Holy Spirit is working in you. Now is your time of Sanctification. It's okay to stutter. It's not easy to speak clearly when overwhelmed by God's presence. Thing is that, he knows the desires of your heart, the state of your soul and mind and tears are a language he understands so beautifully, it's miraculous. My friend, I have a thing to say: Godly sorrow ( of the Holy Spirit ) that leads to life, and there's worldly sorrow that leads to death, I say this with 2 Cointhians 7:10 in mind Now whether the "worldly sorrow" that Paul talks, has to do with the world's sorrows, like envy, or pride, or whether it has to do with false guilt, like only having the fear/regret of the punishment of your sin, im not sure

All conviction are regrets but not all regrets have to be convictions... if you know what I'm tryna say. And to know if it's Godly sorrow versus worldy sorrow it also depends if this sorrow is what will lead the person to repentance as it says in the scripture. That would be Godly sorrow. Praise God! Im 16 and I opened You tube this morning and your video popped up. I gave it a like to watch it later and now hours later when I saw your video it made me cry man. Because it reminded me a year ago when I was going along with my friends as bulling other people or telling bad jokes and they were influencing me. It was hard for me at first to be different but when I was holding my focus on Jesus, I didnt care anymore what people thought about me. So brother in Christ focus on Jesus. Keep that fire for God!

i'd like to share my testimony here too. 3 years ago one of my older brothers was saved. i used to hate when he would come to my room to talk to me about God. but i noticed it was changing me slowly over the years. about a month ago i got really back into emo music, specifically my chemical romance. i would listen to songs of theirs that made me sad and reminded me of my own fears. and that helped me realise...all i've been doing throughout those three years is distracting myself with worldly things and not focusing on the love God wants to give me. i've been trying to stop my own sin and come out of my anxiety and depression by myself. but mcr helped me reflect and truly find and give up my life for God. now i couldn't be happier. i cut out their depressing and sinful music from my life yes, but there are quite a few i still enjoy listening to that remind me of my own faith and how God saved me (bulletproof heart is one of my top favorites, i thank God for it often). so the band isn't opposed to Christianity, the main vocalist actually believes in God too (but he isn't saved yet - i'm praying for him every day and want to talk to him really badly about this). i'm not ashamed of my faith anymore and i don't care what others say. God's got me and He loves me and all of us. and i love you too. stay strong ❤❤
Hey man, you can’t change what you did, but you can change what you will do. God is able to forgive and forget ALL sins as seen in the Bible. Your testimony will surely help others to grow and examine their own lives and whether or not they are doing things they should be doing. God is able to lead you out of temptation, you can always say no. As an older guy, I can tell you that you've made the best decision to follow Christ at your age. I've heard many testimonies, and even within mine I've said, "I wish I would've done this sooner". As you grow you will display more fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). And by doing so, you will be planting seeds in others to follow Christ. Continue to speak because God didn't give us a spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7). Continue to fellowship with other followers of Christ because bad company corrupts good morals (1 Corinthians 15:33) You don't wanna slowly drift away from Christ like many of us others without realizing it, causing unnecessary chaos in your life and other people's life for years and years. You're on the right path!

This is encouraging bro ! When I was in 8th grade I was going to commit suicide, but God came in and I felt peace and comfort for the first time in my life. Then I got on my Instagram to try to inspire others and keep myself inspired during COVID 2020. I started reading my scripture. Routines, but then got a girlfriend and became lustful and God put me in a situation where I had to choose him or the lust. Him or my way. And I made the choice to choose Him. And I got baptized. I died going in the water and came out alive. It's going to be hard to keep going keep being in the light. Cuz you don't know who will need it this will affect those around you and things will be hard. But if you are for the ONE WHO MADE LIFE, who can stop you.

I always think innocence to be very important and valuable to me. I, myself have been exposed to this type of content before, which is terrible, and has affected my mental state. So far, I'm recovering from the affliction I've had ever since covid.

Amen bro, what you're feeling is conviction from the Holy Spirit. I'm still in highschool as well and our peers are all living lives of sin but that is why we should go against the flow of the world and show them the love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, so that they too and turn to Him

That's a great testimony Bro. The sign of conviction is how you know that the Holy Spirit is working in you. Now is your time of Sanctification. It's okay to stutter. It's not easy to speak clearly when overwhelmed by God's presence. Thing is that, he knows the desires of your heart, the state of your soul and mind and tears are a language he understands so beautifully, it's miraculous. Even when it's hard to find the words, God still knows what you're trying to say. Continue to praise him and stay locked in, in the word of God. You shall live to declare the works of the Lord. Godly sorrow ( of the Holy Spirit ) that leads to life, and there's worldly sorrow that leads to death, I say this with 2 Cointhians 7:10 in mind
Now whether the "worldly sorrow" that Paul talks, has to do with the world's sorrows, like envy, or pride, or whether it has to do with false guilt, like only having the fear/regret of the punishment of your sin, im not sure
Now I dont make that response at all to say that our friend in the video had godly or ungodly sorrow at all! In fact I say that his sorrow looked like godly sorrow, but I do bring up the point just to make sure that ( if you understood what I was trying to say ) to consider those things before saying that "the conviction is a sign of the Holy Spirit working in you" ,

Ive heard alot of people say ( in certain situations ) that the conviction someone had was a sign of the holy spirit working, but ( in some of those particular situations ) i dont think that was correct, that their conviction was from the holy spirit

All conviction are regrets but not all regrets have to be convictions... if you know what I'm tryna say. And to know if it's Godly sorrow versus worldy sorrow it also depends if this sorrow is what will lead the person to repentance as it says in the scripture. That would be Godly sorrow. Praise God! Im 16 and I opened You tube this morning and your video popped up. I gave it a like to watch it later and now hours later when I saw your video it made me cry man. Because it reminded me a year ago when I was going along with my friends as bulling other people or telling bad jokes and they were influencing me. It was hard for me at first to be different but when I was holding my focus on Jesus, I didnt care anymore what people thought about me. So brother in Christ focus on Jesus. Keep that fire for God!

3 years ago one of my older brothers was saved. i used to hate when he would come to my room to talk to me about God. but i noticed it was changing me slowly over the years.
about a month ago i got really back into emo music, specifically my chemical romance. i would listen to songs of theirs that made me sad and reminded me of my own fears. and that helped me realise...all i've been doing throughout those three years is distracting myself with worldly things and not focusing on the love God wants to give me. i've been trying to stop my own sin and come out of my anxiety and depression by myself. but mcr helped me reflect and truly find and give up my life for God. now i couldn't be happier.
i cut out their depressing and sinful music from my life yes, but there are quite a few i still enjoy listening to that remind me of my own faith and how God saved me (bulletproof heart is one of my top favorites, i thank God for it often). so the band isn't opposed to Christianity, the main vocalist actually believes in God too (but he isn't saved yet - i'm praying for him every day and want to talk to him really badly about this).
i'm not ashamed of my faith anymore and i don't care what others say. God's got me and He loves me and all of us. and i love you too. stay strong ❤❤
Hey man, you can’t change what you did, but you can change what you will do. God is able to forgive and forget ALL sins as seen in the Bible. Your testimony will surely help others to grow and examine their own lives and whether or not they are doing things they should be doing. God is able to lead you out of temptation, you can always say no. As an older guy, I can tell you that you've made the best decision to follow Christ at your age. I've heard many testimonies, and even within mine I've said, "I wish I would've done this sooner". As you grow you will display more fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). And by doing so, you will be planting seeds in others to follow Christ. Continue to speak because God didn't give us a spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7). Continue to fellowship with other followers of Christ because bad company corrupts good morals (1 Corinthians 15:33) You don't wanna slowly drift away from Christ like many of us others without realizing it, causing unnecessary chaos in your life and other people's life for years and years. You're on the right path!

This is encouraging bro ! When I was in 8th grade I was going to commit suicide, but God came in and I felt peace and comfort for the first time in my life. Then I got on my Instagram to try to inspire others and keep myself inspired during COVID 2020. I started reading my scripture. Routines, but then got a girlfriend and became lustful and God put me in a situation where I had to choose him or the lust. Him or my way. And I made the choice to choose Him. And I got baptized. I died going in the water and came out alive. It's going to be hard to keep going keep being in the light. Cuz you don't know who will need it this will affect those around you and things will be hard. But if you are for the ONE WHO MADE LIFE, who can stop you.
