They typically pave/repave after a big construction project. The heavy machinery will tear up whatever you pave, so its best to do that after construction.
I sure hope they eventually get shade structures and benches on that “long walk” to the main entrance! Dylan, please speak up regarding the resurfacing. The execs at Six Flags need to hear this. They have the money to repave the parking lot. Don’t be cheap Six Flags!! Invest in the future of this park. Treat a flagship park like it should be treated! Regarding Jet Stream, last time I rode it it seemed somewhat rough with not much water flowing.
@5:20 I'm hoping it's a for a Hyper Mack Extreme Spinner with loads of floater. Run it through the mountain trees, use the theatre facade as part the station and call it Golden Bear.
Love your video. Hope to check out that spot soon. Recently, I visited six flags, New Jersey and posted a few videos out there too. Just love the great outdoors. Keep posting these videos.
The official Magic Mountain website lists Ninja as "Closed For Refurbishment", same with Jet Stream, but Superman is still listed as "Closed." The Superman listing has been like that for quite some time now (which could mean any number of things not related to the future of the ride.) Magic Mover has no photo but has no special operational announcement, just a regular listing.
Call me crazy, but here is my theory. Magic mountain removes the golden bear theater, ninja, and possibly jet stream, and builds a large scale (possibly a giga coaster) in that plot of land. Many people say 2025 but I don’t think we will see an opening until 2026. I think it would make sense for the park to try and capitalize off of the fast and furious coaster, but not be in direct competition with it in opening year. I could see intamin or vekoma taking on a project like this. B&M usually takes up more space with their coasters. Edit: due to the terrain of the park they could make the drop over 300 feet and keep the lift relatively short. This could maybe keep the price down. I also forgot to mention RMC. A t-Rex is beckoning…
The parking lot... I hope with the new solar panels going up over the parking lot, they add cameras and security because theft and tailgating will amp up. The Jet Streamer... It's time has come and gone. I wish Magic Mountain would replace it with something similar to Catapult Falls at Sea World San Antonio. Scream... Can we please landscape the area around it? Full Throttle... Will they ever complete this track?? & please fix up the area around it, it's flat and boring. Dining... Will Magic Mountain ever put in a full service restaurant? The Helpul Honda Express... Please paint it back to red. The light blue takes away from the theming at Samurai Summit. It looks so out of place. Otherwise, I do love the collection of roller-coasters that Magic Mountain does have, it's pretty solid.
A couple of other things while we're at it: YES, PAINT Magic Mover back to red and rename it: ORIENT Express WITH Samurai Summit closed off to the public, I'M HOPING....HOPING VERY VERY much, that Magic Mountain is FINALLY gonna address and revitalize that portion of the park after being in decay and rotting away for DECADES! They can also bring back The Dragon AND The Magic Pagoda walk-through maze. ALSO, WHILE on top of the mountain, PLEEEAAASE RETROFIT, REPAINT, AND REOPEN SKY TOWER; MAGIC MOUNTAIN is NOT the same without it!! Back down the mountain, and this is just MY humble opinion, if they're gonna replace Golden Bear Theater with another attraction, I'd say: BRING BACK LOG JAMMER.....IT GETS HELLA SCORCHING DURING THOSE HOT SUMMER DAYS IN VALENCIA!!
They need to come install more solar panels on top of parking lots. Not only are they easy places to get sunlight for energy, but they also provide perfect shade for cars on a sunny day.
I have never been on Scream. But I do want to. It doesn't look as bad as people say. I am willing to ride it. The sad thing is that every time I go it's closed
Scream is a solid ride but just lacks a “oomf” factor, imo. Other rides have something unique. Twisted Colossus-Hybrid, Wonder Woman-Single seats, Tatsu-Flying,X2-Spins, Goliath-Height, etc. Whereas Scream doesn’t, in my eyes. But it’s no slouch. It’s a fun coaster and with it being pretty isolated, it tends to have a short wait. Or at least shorter than most rides. It’s like an “old reliable” to my family.
Love the video and want some tips on starting a vlog channel for me and Michael are thinking of moving to Florida just us together someday and want to meet you some day at Disney land
I would love the CaroWinds revamp for the front of the park. Getting to other parks outside of California you realize, SFMM really needs tlc, (KI, CW, Dollywood and of course SFFT all come to mind.)
If they don't repave the parking lot, they sure do need to fix up the front entrance. Plain white concrete doesn't cut it. Among Six Flags parks, the one in San Antonia, TX, probably looks the best. Although the Fiesta Tx park doesn't have as many coasters as MM does, it's more pleasing to the eyes. That's partly because all its ground space isn't covered in...plain white concrete. As for the solar panel roofs being installed in MM's parking lot, not sure if that's due mainly to some type of tax subsidy. Or not because SF wants to prevent guests' cars from being roasted under the summer sun, but to reduce the company's taxes. Either way, the park increasingly has the vibes of a dead mall, so it better get its act together.
I think six flags magic mountain should get a intamin giga splash water ride one of intamin new concepts I think that's what they should get to go in place of the golden bear theater
About the paving. Prepare to be disappointed. If it's Six Flags, it will either be a patchwork, or the bare minimum. Shameful, I love this park, but it is such a dump. Went Holiday in the Park, and was so disappointed. I have legacy membership and dining plan, but I think I'm done.
THAT 👆 I went there a week ago, and I must say: If it wasn't for the rollercoasters I would have just turned around and came back home. I visited Knotts Berry Farm a week before that. TOTAL NIGHT AND DAY between the two!!
We had passes to Magic Mountain this year (2023). The place feels rundown and dirty and the food is terrible. The greater number and variety of thrill rides makes this a fun place to go once in a while. Colossus is the best
They typically pave/repave after a big construction project. The heavy machinery will tear up whatever you pave, so its best to do that after construction.
That’s good news! I’m sure they’ll also have parking lot letters/numbers too so we find our vehicles easily.
they will resurface after they make the holes in the ground and make sure they have structures in play before they touch that gravel
Fingers crossed that is the case 😁

I can’t wait to visit that Six Flags park. 😁
Agree. It's beautiful over there. You should check it out when you get a chance.
the color coded paint marks are to locate the buried utilities. S/S in green means Sanitary Sewer
I wish they’d give the iconic Goldrusher a facelift/ new rockwork/ upgrade. ….such a great, old ride!
I am going tomorrow! Can't wait!
Twisted colossus, Tatsu, X2, my top three
@@thizzlemetimbrs8194 I have not gone on X2 yet but that is my bucket list. Twisted and Tatsu are great though.

They had some equipment up there so I’m wondering if they are working on some footpath stuff.
@@ThemeParkObsessionDD Maybe they are figuring out what to do with the Laughing Dragon. It would be cool to see it get used again.

That’s a possibility but idk if Magic Mountain wants to loose their coaster crown with less than 20. So we shall see what they do.

Went a couple weeks ago and it was sweet to see the solar panels up in the employee lot from Lex Luthor
It’s going to be great for the park. Glad they are going green 😁
They need to come install more solar panels on top of parking lots. Not only are they easy places to get sunlight for energy, but they also provide perfect shade for cars on a sunny day.
That's what they are doing.

It's fun !
Of the B&Ms (Batman, Riddler, Scream) Scream is my favorite and least painful (the other 2 batter my ears). Silver Bullet at Knotts is even better

it's looking a bit unkempt at magic mountain lately --I'm very curious what changes the merger will bring forth - what rides were closed ?
I hope in the new year they can keep the beautification projects going.

They should have done a huge parking structure like Disneyland.
That would have been great! I have said that too because that way they can free up all that space for expansion.
@@ThemeParkObsessionDD yaaaaaasss,I agree. Only if they listen to you guys .
If they did there would be plenty of room for an out and back giga!
@@stephenn77Don't we all wish
Theme Park Obsession & Park Bros absolutely have the best Six Flags Magic Mountain coverage 👐
We both appreciate it 😁
How would the prefer parking work with the speedy parking?
That I’m not sure on. I have never used the speedy pass parking option or preferred parking.
There's no way there gonna re pave the lot first before the actually finish with the construction
Crossing my fingers they do all the digging and then once they are done they repave it.
I think six flags magic mountain should get a intamin giga splash water ride one of intamin new concepts I think that's what they should get to go in place of the golden bear theater
A new water ride would be really really good for the park. The water rides they have right now I think are at the end of their life cycle.
Do you think this Saturday or Sunday (nye) will be more packed?
It will be very busy yes.
imagine they just add a kid flash where the theatre is
That would actually be pretty cool.
West Coast Racers: YOU must take me for a joke, huh
@@seanlewis1148 Mid ride definition of it
Did six flags get rid of the parking lot trams?
They have busses but I haven’t seen them run in awhile now.
I wish the park entrance would be moved to by colossus ! And keep the current entrance for HH only
That would be pretty cool actually.
Still no transportation to the front entance...shame, shame...not everyone is young.
Let’s hope in the new year they bring the busses back.
