Cool video. I have an early 90's "Foto Flame" Strat that I re-modded to HSS/DiMarzios (and I love it). It probably gets more play than my USA Fenders. The DMZ pickups compliment the light basswood body nicely. Mine has cracks all over it too, but that's part of the charm of it to me. I'll never get rid of it. Keep jammin'!
Kind of a neat model with all it's quirks. Maybe this might be an affordable way to get a MIJ strat due to squire stamped on the head stock & the age cracks.
I think that’s exactly it! Probably the last “inexpensive” way into a MIJ strat. I see them on reverb for just shy of 1K but the odd one pops up locally anywhere from $500 and up. Not much more than current Squier cash 🤷♂️🎸.
