ABOUT AMERICAN GLADIATORS:
Welcome to the official channel of American Gladiators, home of patriotic spandex and giant cotton swabs.
Beginning in 1989 for 8 seasons, this competition swept America. Two men and two women compete against each other and a roster of "American Gladiators". Events included, The Assault, Joust, The Wall, Breakthrough and Conquer, Hang Tough, Powerball, and many others, all culminating in the final event, "The Eliminator", a difficult obstacle course race. Every season there is a tournament to determine its "Grand Champion". For two seasons, there was an "International" competition taped in England where the champions from 4-6 countries competed similarly.

It’s sad that this is the Shortest Season of AG, considering that half of it was a Regular Season, and the other half Celebrity & Special Episodes.
Yeah. This season was their Icarus. Flew WAY too close to the sun with how desperately they relied on gimmicks. Sucks too cuz they had some pretty good ideas with the new events.
@@blakfloyd What if it wasn't the shortest season? Had they never relied on gimmicks, they would've remained on the air today.
It's ironic because the UK iteration had a really short last season after the season before that had a lot of gimmicky events with okay ideas.
Both Eliminator runs came down to pure endurance not just the treadmills but also the ball pits which really took down a lot out of everyone.
Pat Cszimazia What A Star That Man
The new events were awesome, but I wish this season of American Gladiators lasted longer. At 0:19 is my favorite shot of Siren. I’ve always had a huge crush on her😍🥰👊🏾💍
There were no new events in season 7.
Laser hardly ever lost in Pyramid and the Wall.
Is this episode 7? Or did they mistitle it? Because episode 6 hasn't been uploaded yet. And we never got an upload last week.
"equivalate this to a thinking man's game" yikes, using words is not nitro's forte
American Gladiators the later incarnation: less big hair, more bare midriffs, more bromance, with unabashed talk of "two studs getting it on". Such a curious and quirky mix.
I miss this show
Sabre A.K.A Jax from Mortal Kombat
I'm assuming the reason they had several gimmick episodes was that the ratings really tanked?
I remember one time a competitor won the pyramid and the gladiator pushed the guy off the top while he was cheering. He didn't hit one step on the way down
Carla was so lackadaisical during the eliminator and still won. We'll never see that again
Where’s Zap and Dallas?
How many times do we have to tell you, they appear in the series finale or thereof
@@misstee101😂😂😂 everytime in the chat he be asking that though FRFR!
We miss Zonk and Lisa Malosky
Don't forget Joe Theismann and Todd Christensen
@@misstee101 And Fran Tarkenton
@AceMcSch00ly Fran didn't host American Gladiators did he?
@@misstee101Todd Christensen was kinda boring when compared to The Zonk
Warning- The gladiators and contestants are highly trained athletes and have a lifetime of experience, but they are not invincible. Bodies have been broken, necks broken, concussions inflicted, lives shattered, and careers ended in an instant. Although it is entertainment, the hazards are real, and the contestants and gladiators take real risks, endure unimaginable pain, and put their bodies, their careers, and their lives on the line.
Don't risk yours!
Be Smart!
Be Safe!
PLEASE DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME, SCHOOL OR ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
Sky is definitely my guy, no pun intended. He, I mean she is hott 🔥🔥
Why was Nitro ever popular? He comes across as a smart ass know-it-all who rarely ever practiced what he preached - quick with the criticism, but slow to ever take his own advice. The arrogance was a smokescreen for his insecurity. Ice said that all the OG Gladiators were being themselves on the show. None of it was an act or scripted. So if that's the real Nitro, then yuck and no thanks!
Mike Adlame Gladiators 😊
no
Pat CsizMazia had a fantastic performance in the Men's Eliminator.
RIP Hawk and Siren
As well as Gold and Thunder.
The clothes on mike and Dan are so sloppy huge
I think that was just 90s fashion. Not a ton of people were wearing proper fitted suits, and slim fit suits were definitely not in fashion.
The Nitrostrator, brought to you by Slim Jim.
“Need A Little Excitement, Snap into a Slim Jim.” ~”Macho Man” Randy Savage(RIP)
DQ @ 28:32 - Sky grabbed the back of her Tug-o-War platform, so that's a foul and an automatic loss for her.
Pat is from Ketchum and looks a bit like Ash Ketchum.
Right on time! Just searched today and you posted yesterday!
They brought back the 2/3 attempts at the treadmill?
Nitrostrator is new sounds like Zonk a strator
It is
Hawk sounds like Pinocchio
It was a great finish in the Women's Eliminator between Carla Zeitlin and Cherl Lee Sandy.
