or they're friends who can also play musical instruments and so agreed to smuggle their instruments into the chapel and play for them to do something nice for their friends. Remember the priest was in on this as well so he could arrange it so that they'd arrive before Peter did so he wouldn't see their instruments or after he arrived so his back would be to them the whole time
