So, lubricate first, 400 grit light pressure on one side/edge of spinny thing Speed 1, 800 grit, 1500 grit, lubricate again, 3000 grit then more lubricant then 5000 grit, then a dry 5000 grit on speed 2 (Ryobi). Looks like 225mm diameter?
Mirror finish should be coming a long time before 5000 grit, it should be noticeably mirror like at 2000 so maybe you should use lubricant and won't need to go as high.

Thank you! What kind of lubricant do you use?
Hello, what do you think the minimum caliber of the stainless steel sheet should be in order to have a mirror finish?
Could you please tell me where you purchased the 3 and 5K grit sandpaper? I could only find 3K in sheets. Thank you
I just ordered 30 pack of 10000 grit orbital sander paper. They have it on amazon
Thank you so much

You've wasted more paper towels than the work you did - seemed like a paper towel commercial.
