Spearfishing is no joke sometimes. Sharks can be the largest threat. Normally they don't charge divers but they are wild animals acting on instinct.

While we sail through French Polynesia fish is our main source of protein. There are very few stores where we visit and the stores have a super limited selection of produce, and it's costly. Freediving for our food is the best method for us while living on a catamaran.

What I’ve noticed is if one commits to making an aggressive pass the others just follow along. I try to tap the most aggressive one and it usually will settle them down. Haven’t been anywhere near as pristine as where you are at though. That was crazy. Liked and Subscribed. Stay Safe

Totally agree. I think the others got all turned on just by seeing the first lemon shark charge to the surface looking at the speargun!

Yeah man sometimes you have to dive deep for them. They come close, but usually you need to hit around 20M or so.
