They were so warlike that every alien they met was an enemy. The aggressive Kizinti became savagely culled by their own aggression. By the time Ringworld comes about, the less aggressive Kizinti were becoming the majority since the "proper" predatory Kizinti had mostly died out from constant war. In the Ringworld novel, they are a fount of lethal gallows humor.

This is actually the first full episode I watched along with you... I had to look up when it ran.... 1973... I wasn't old enough to watch... and if I were old enough to watch, I wouldn't have... but to be fair the only Star Trek series I liked and watched were the one with Piccard and Janeway as Captains.... oh.. and I watched the first season of the one with Sasha from The Walking Dead and Michelle Yeoh.
This is more like the original Twilight Zone episode with Roddy McDowell and Susan Oliver. McDowell and his commander crash land on Mars. Susan Oliver is a Martian woman. McDowell ends up in a Martian Zoo. I notice that last week's video may have been banned. I really hope you got to read my comment about Larry Niven's known space universe and how you might want to start with World of Ptavvs, given that you wanted so much more from that story.
Yeah, I just checked and 6 videos were taken down this week including last weeks. It's very irritating to have them up for so long and then wake up to them being blocked. Thanks for repeating your comment, as I usually scan through last week as I'm posting the following week.

The Robinsons(lost in space) had a run in with a zoo keeper ( episode the keeper). Its the best episode its a two parter. I always liked this episode. Of course i was 13 when it was first on
