I had a blast meeting people, eating a bunch of bomb food everyone made and poured some beer. Really good vibes and a huge sense of community between the BBQ fam.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by, got some stickers and business cards and tasted the beers.
Unfortunately the IPA I brewed for this event took its sweet ass time fermenting and it was too fresh at the time of the event(hop bite & too much yeast in suspension giving that throat tickle/burn, which I hate). A week longer and this beer would be been a whole hell of a lot smoother and the hop bite would be non-existent. The blonde and pale however were pouring great and really came in clutch on this hot summer day.
Can’t wait to pour at the next event here. Huge shout out to Hop Killers party director, Rob, for helping pour & setup.
