Rokeby used to be the Guest House for the Methodist Church of India. In my youth, I remember organizing the Library cabinet in the common sitting room. The Chef was awesome. Mrs Smythe, the Pastor's wife was a wonderful, loving host. Beautiful Landour!
We used to pronounce it "Landaar".

Lucky you! I went to school in DehraDun..20 yrs later its still where I find peace..always make it a point to go to Mussorie whenever am in India
I checked in here 3 times and have lunch here everytime i visit mussoorie from Dehradun..Its worth it...
its a great hotel.
Amazing colonial British days structure.Awesome breakfast luncheon n dinner serving all types of delicacies.excellent service neat n clean rooms n mind blowing valey view from all rooms.I would recommend all my friends n relatives to enjoy their top grade pleasing hospitality

Minimum charges in this hotel is 8000/- per night. How many of us can afford it? I can not. It is more that one way air flight ticket from mumbai to dehradun.

Rokeby Manor looks great though kinda expensive for me. I have stayed at Ivy Bank cottage couple of times and love that as well.

.. If you have come to explore nature.... Stay in cheapest ones...at end one cozy bed to sleep needed. After your whole day trip... Or spend money and explore hotel only😝
