Troodon is even to a Raptor i gues :) i like playing them both, so damn agile nobody are able to catch you if you play with brain and watch your stam pool. Just Poke and you win every fight over time. Poke, run away, poke, runaway after 10 - 15 times every other dino goes down due to venom or bleeding. beeing small is one of the best things in the isle... only the deino ist not killable because they always close to the water with like 50 other deinos :D

@@TurkishD_lite Yes they do. They drain your stam big time, I lost 3 fg omnis fighting those rats because they drain stamina so much even when I do my best to conserve my stam. Don't get me wrong, I oftentimes kill 90% of the troodon adults before I get killed by bleed from the respawns and other troodons joining in. It's very OP indeed.
I'm a stego fan and it's good to see something can challenge it now..but I was definitely hoping it will be a pack of medium sized carnivores rather than a swarm of small ones

the stego players are probably just going to hard log when they come across big troodon packs in the future. way to easy to escape like this, this didn't really work with utahs before because they could just headshot a stego fairly quickly if it wasn't moving, troodons can't
Tap pouncing is even better for troodon, omnis bleed exponentially decreases the longer you use pounce, so while you do get benefit from pouncing longer, it isn’t really worth it after 2 seconds, but omni can kill anything it can pin if it has full stamina. Troodon ONLY does damage, bleed and venom in the initial impact. There is zero benefit to staying on except waiting for a safer drop
And It's even been tested on Omni. Tap pouncing applies more bleed. If you hold on for more than 4 seconds as an omni it punishes by lowering bleed damage. It's still insane bleed, don't get me wrong. Overall tap-pouncing is more efficient, that's all.
I feel like the venom needs some sort of buff, like at stage 3 it slows or drains Stam while they take bonus bleed from the venom thinning the blood or clotting the blood

20 galli would be a mega pack though and unbalanced, we were still within the group limit during this fight. But it’s definitely fun to see all the names pouncing onto the stego
I've seen groups of gallis demolish stegos. Heck, I've been apart of it xD They're arguably the best pack hunters in the game right now with how absurd their bleed is.
I wish I had enough friends to do this kind of stuff. Instead, I just play as things that don't have group-based mechanics and can either easily escape, hide, or hold their own effectively. The beipi has been a lot of fun for that.
@@ScopeOGyt It is the only new creature I have played since 6.5 came out. My other mains before beipi have been ptera, pachy, hypsi, and stego. I don't enjoy the predatory playstyle as much because I like PvP to be optional in my gameplay.
@@ScopeOGyt Cerato is interesting, but has to hunt and scavenge a lot, and its hunger drains fast so you have to almost constantly look for more food. I'm not particularly interested in that playstyle, even if its mechanics are interesting.
Stegos strut around like hot shit for the longest, its nice to see them be put in their place. Same for any apex honestly, just because your big doesn't mean you should never die...Even to small things.

I don't like how the venom scent shows purple in stage 2 and stage 3. Makes it very confusing sometimes. It should stay green for 1st and 2nd, then purple for 3rd.
Was playing the other day and with just 2 troodons we bullied a fresh adult stego to the river. Whenever it's not dying to bugs it's insanely broken. It shouldn't even be able to envenomate things that big imo, because if stego can barely deal with them while using an AoE attack how will rex or trike or giga do anything
Tbf apex dinos need hard counters. Troodon sucks against anything that isn’t apex, and btw envenomate IS weaker vs larger targets, because it just boosts troodons damage which is still reduced by weight

You still have a bite that doesn't cost stam and can easily dispose of them, use that instead of going "grrr must swing tail at thing that looked at me."

when troodon pounces off a stego the stego has alot of time to react and swing at it and makes troodons not so good against stegos that know this (and most stegos dont buck for some reason)
For a stego player being solo getting into the river seems to be the only valid strat against dozens of venomous buggers you can hardly aim for! :D Finally something that can beat the stego in a fair manner. We only need now something that drives Deinos out of the water! XD

But did unfortunately not stop player from overcrowding the server with crocs and in theory reach all the places without leaving the rivers. In Spiro was not much safety, besides the certainty that most of them would hang around at the same 3 spots and that there were safe spots to drink from. Gateways rivers are not connected. Deino Player really need to move their Ass on land to get somewhere (unexpected). Finally moments where they are more vulnerable!

The way I find a pack is by 1 calling and following people's calls to find other players! I was part of a pack with seven other people once and it was awesome, I'll never forget them
Considering the requirements for this to even happen AND work, i'd say this is fine. The stego could have easily defended itself with bites. But if babies are really that bothered with it being "broken" then the venom could be a limited resource, rapidly draining food and water to produce more. With that, small groups of troodons would think twice before taking an animal that big because there would be a high chance that they would starve themselves to death trying to take it down.

Troodons "steal" stamina of the victim they pounce, and that's why the first stego seem to not do anything after the stage 3 venom.
Troodons do not have a stamina draining ability. It is just damage.

If they hard it won’t be worth it. It still takes 5 mins for your Dino to disappear which is enough time for a troodon pack to kill a stego
If the troodons realize it though, 10 troodons constantly biting a stego for 3 minutes is gonna kill it either way

when troodon pounces off a stego the stego has alot of time to react and swing at it and makes troodons not so good against stegos that know this (and most stegos dont buck for some reason)
