- ...DuBody, he named that thing in the thumbnail a DuBody, and it's in the back half of this video. You'll see.
Today it's mostly bizarre customs, truly shocking show cars from the 00s and 10s that will never, ever sell on Facebook Marketplace no matter how long they sit there. Okay maybe that subwoofer 240SX will but these other ones have no chance. Absolutely unsettling fiberglass abominations await. Авто/Мото
They were so concerned with if they could build the DuBody, they never stopped to ask if they should.

I've decided not to endorse the Dubody.
That thing looks like it’s come straight out of crackdown
@@wrench8677yes, but also it's mid engine rwd. So like, good crack out there
@@larry_ellison Crackdown is a video game
I WOKE UP IN A USED DU-BODY! SKKRT!
fuck i wanted to post this
The DuBody is an outrageous build but you have to hand it to the man who was cracked out enough to actually build that thing, that is asinine to imagine that thing actually running and driving on the road.
My uncle built that car. Its two dodge intrepid rear ends welded together. Everything is custom. Its not exactly a pretty car but still cool
@@JonSnow42069id love to hear more or the full story
that bugatti intrepid is something straight out of Midnight Club 3
It's like what happens when you try installing all the weirdest upgrades on a single car.
Mmm definitely 2004-2005 car show but this is more like a Hot Wheels car
Midnight Club edition Chrysler ME 412 moment.
The Intrepid has Altima headlights and aftermarket Saturn Ion sedan tail lights.
Imagine, all that custom work and using a stock Chrysler sedan V6. It's not even the ORIGINAL engine, which would have been a 3.2l. The 3.5 came in the Intrepid R/T, LHS and 300M. So he could have put literally any engine into the middle of this Intrepid ES (Northstar, Pentastar, 2GR, anything) and he went with a SOHC LHS engine.
I guess his creativity wasn't quite boundless.
Not only does it have saturn ion sedan taillights, but they're the aftermarket "euro" version that looks like absolute ass.
@@Dappersworthwell in his defense that is the theme of the entire car.
It had to bolt up to the transaxle transmission so it makes sense to use something that came out of the trep originally.
@@shadow105720 You think running some wires to a GM TCM is harder than turning a FWD car into a MR car???
@@matthewbowen5841 wires aren't bolts. I don't see what that has to do with mounting an engine to the transmission. And the prowler used this exact setup for MR so yeah I would say thats the simplest solution.
Petition for netgear to buy the DuBody
Never trust any post who put brakes as breaks. That's a clear message of what's gonna happen with the vehicle as soon as you buy it.
😂😂 good one
that first car looks like a hot wheels car. like a literal toy a child would play with
I’m responsible for posting the Dubody Intrepid monstrosity in the discord and couldn’t be more proud 😂
When I first came across the ad I was so excited and hoped y’all would see it
I like how much the Dodgegatti fieron shares parts with my grandfather's '06 town&country.
I would legit buy the Du-Body that thing is so horrid its awesome.
great news, its still available XD
I’d buy it for like 2 grand or less if I were rich
An amazing monstrosity 😂
I would 100%
Man, some of these feel like Jail Car type time capsules. The premise is that a person invests a bunch of ill gotten gains (narcotics money or what have you) into building this shit and then go away to jail for a decade or two while the car remains untouched at his mama's house.
accurate
The hype tax on kei cars has reached the point that it’s literally cheaper for me to fly to Japan and buy one then ship it home.
If they were sold outside of Japan they would be worthless lol, and they weren’t exactly aimed for rich buyers, though they’re admittedly much better than European compacts.
I WOKE UP IN A NEW DU-BODY!!
Local Car Audio Shop in my area (Sunshine Coast QLD Australia) still has their INSANE Hilux MiniTruck that they built back in the 2000's in the centre of their showroom to this day
Thing is in perfect condition and I go in in there all the time just to look at it.
I miss these days man, No 2 cars were the same, the wilder the better
The creativity is what i miss the most.
Exactly, there's no longer creativity - it's the same body kits with the same wrap all parts off of ebay bought because "universal fit". But it works for Instagram apparently.
@@lolly166541and oh God fucking wraps. Because everyone is too cheap to actually paint their damned car. Nothing worse than a clean ass pearl blue car then they open the hood or doors and the fucking thing is red from the factory. At least paint holds up longer. You have to redo that God awful vinyl shit every three to five years.
@@lolly166541 To be fair, "universal fit" parts damn near require boundless creativity to fit.
I woke up in a new cringemobile.
I WOKE UP IN A NEW BOGATTI
YEAH YEAH
If I’ll be completely honest the 2004 Subaru WRX Wagon doesn’t look too too bad.
It's not worth 11,000$ though what the fuck
Either the Suburu or the Lamborghini-dodge-bugatti shitshow@@repingers9777
@@repingers9777yeah but he never floored wide open with no boost
Worth 7k max
The DuBody actually belongs to my cousin now! I instantly recognized it from the thumbnail. I remember visiting them when I was younger and just being so confused and a little in awe of the creation. I don’t know too much about it but I see it pop up on FB every now and then.
congratulations?
@@johndeerdrew yeah it was just weird af seeing it in their video😂
@@moosejaw0027 I get that
Can you say more to like how it drives 🚗...old comment but still curious 😅
I mean, yeaha they havent aged well because they're a timepiece of how bespoke and wild the 2000s were.
Creativity and audacity beyond imagination.
Nostalgia is what these builds are about, seeing them today.
From an Australian that loves Max Power, NOMI, Autosalon etc, I would LOVE to see that DuBody in person.
Its a Hot Wheels car, beautiful colour and very 2000 concept car styling.
That intrepid, do I like it. No. Do i respect the ABSOLUTE METRIC SHIT TON of work done to it, and how nicely ( well as nice as those boomer ass photos can convey) it was done, HELL YEAH. Hats off to the shop that did that, taking on a project like that takes BALLS!
Not gonna lie...but I kind of want the DuBody. Change out the grill in the front, new tail lights or something. The fins in the back looked straight at some point but...
I would consider a Hellcat swap in it. But I feel this is a never ending rabbit hole.
If I had money I would buy it just to take it to a street take over.
The fact that the body was cut in half and they stuffed the engine directly behind the seats doesn’t exactly scream “safe” even by kit car standards
This shit looks like a nightmare to work on.
I woke up in a new.....ummm....uhh.....hmmm.
I saw that rx7 monster truck organically on my marketplace 😂
organic momster truck
The mid-engined Intrepid looks like a Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition hidden car (for a reason).
you know what, i kinda like the DuBatti. but I've always liked odd cars. the Zimmer Quicksilver, the 84 Tiffany Classic, even certain Mitsuoka models. why blend into traffic? be different.
I would definitely use the DuBody as my experimental car. Hell, I would try to weld 2 Yamaha R6 motorcycle engines together and swap it into this thing.
Thank you so much for letting me know the Honda RACOON is a thing.
I absolutely want it now, damn.
The first car is so funny to me because of the image of the bass just blasting air directly in your face and rattling your teeth, then in the back seats just liquifying your brain with dubstep
yo i was working at soundcrafters in daytona beach when they built this. it was all done in house over the course of a year. the airbrushing was farmed out. it was built specifically for spring break nationals in daytona.
That 3.5L in the intrepid is the factory intrepid R/T motor, they also came in the Plymouth prowler, but with a different transmission so it can be mounted long way to be rwd, instead of the fwd intrepid.
My uncle actually built that car in Escanaba Mi. (The dubody)I have a picture of me standing next to him with said car. It is two Dodge Intrepid rear ends (the back half of the car) welded together and then everything on the car from front to back was custom made to fit. Every body panel was hand fabricated to fit said car. Now a-days he’s working on a ecoboost powered sub 2k pound wedge hes hoping to make 4-500hp out of.
I woke up in a new Du-Body 🔥🔥🔥
I can just picture popping the hood on the S14 and seeing the most neglected, dusty, basic KA under there too. Not that it would matter, there could of been nothing under the hood as it was probably just trailered to shows.
Most likely had some sort of basic engine set up with 20 alternators hanging off it 😂
20 alternators for all the bass 😂
Never floored off boost, obviously watched one of those videos about DoNt LuG yOuR cAr EnGiNe and it had a big impact on him 😂
jump scared me with the "I WOKE UP IN A NEW BUGATTI"
Not gonna lie, that intrepid is kinda cool in the most tacky early 2000s way possible.
The fact that it's actually mid engined/rwd is the icing on the cake.
I betcha he’s had more joy out of his Dubody than he ever would with a dime a dozen corvette. He was king of every car show in 2006 and beyond….. kudos to him
I will never understand the 00s obsession with audio systems
Speakers you put on a shelf or a floor or a table were not invented yet, only car speakers
CDs, then iPods, then smartphones. Car Audio was a huge upsell for dealers already, so it followed that the aftermarket would cater to people who wanted to prop themselves up to their friends while still feeling like they were receiving a tangible benefit. Plus Audiophiles are already a demographic who will throw money away to chase even the idea that they're getting a better experience than you.
LoL, it actually started in the 90's
You just had to be there my dude. Stock car stereos were jank for a LONG time.
One of the few benefits of being a zoomer
I WOKE UP IN A NEW BOGATI 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔊🔊🔊

I'm so glad that miata was shown on this channel!! I remember scrolling through facebook market place looking for a rolling chassis and stumbled across this car XD
You guys are making your way up there with views, I remember when the channel only got 500-1000 views per vid
Cruis'news is a local Michigan magazine (now defunct), but they do still have a website that shows all the car shows in Michigan.
I’m surprised I haven’t seen my s13 shell fb ad pop up in one of these lmao. Y’all would get enjoyment out of it for the next cars agains humanities
That Dodge made me chuckle so badly. It looks somehow good at some angles and then you see lights... and that grill 😂
HE WOKE UP IN A NEW DUBODY
"I woke up in a new-"
"..."
"Tf did I wake up in?"
To say I'm at a loss for words is an understatement. This thing is seriously a thing of beauty
Nobody’s gonna mention the 2008 Altima headlights on the DuBody?
That first car is my NFSU2 fever dreams come to life
I think the Miata guy wanted it to look like an AC Cobra.
I'd pay the combined prices of the miata shell and the du-body to slam them into each other.
The hardest laugh ive probably had in close to two years and it's over a depressed Miata lmfao
those subs to this day still go pretty crazy. prolly the only good thing in that whole 240 at the start
Thumbnail and title is a certified banger
Hold up...that Du-Body thing straight up has PEX plumbing piping in it?! Lmao did you hire a plumber to run those lines?
Holy shit this video is crazy. 😂😂😂
4:11 it's the "LSPI Boogeyman" lore. We have the same thing in the Focus ST/RS communities. A lot of cheap entry level turbocharged cars are full of people who never were taught not to hammer it at low rpms in high gears, and the unlucky ones grenade their rings. Every new guy that joins the clubs asks for pointers, every oldhead says "don't boost it in 5th/6th" and every new guy replies with "I didn't know that" almost like it's clockwork.
Woke up in a new PUKEatti
I owned a very Sebring gtc 2003,
I chopped it up at the firewalls, added the tube frames, LS3 swap, TH400, ford 9” with custom axles.
Custom four link.
I took out the vert top, caged the interior and put a carbon fibre cap on it.
Flooring it at low RPM and letting the engine chug while it comes up to speed is bad for ANY car. The vibrations will damage your engine pistons, rings, cylinder walls and cause early wear and tear. Your HB will mitigate some of it, but... don't do it in ANY car.
netgear is the funniest dude
That speaker Nissan is a true work of art. Wtf
I don’t think anyone has caught it but there are plumbing fittings in the engine bay of the du-body
waiting for the CCF Du-Body give away
The car that's a speaker is a prime example of ATBGE, Awful Taste But Great Execution.
Honestly I really respect the guy who built that DuBody. Regardless if you like it or not, he sure had dedication, and it takes skill to pull that off in a home garage.
A cars against humanity trucks edition would be hilarious
As someone who’s looked for various trucks for work it’s an absolute shit show.
Once saw a 2 tone S10 on an 8 inch lift and an LS engine going for $15k
A Dodge Ram with Daytons
A 78 bronco with a shitty custom tank track conversion on it
And that’s just shit from my area
Maybe not enough for a cars against humanity but if you think the small car market is wild the truck market is smoking crack
They should lol. In North Dakota on market place I seen a 2008ish dodge 1500 2wd short bed single cab with huge chrome stacks They were probably 10’ tall easy And they were size correct for a gas motor 2.5-3” dual stacks lol.
We slapped dodge tow mirrors and fender flares on my buddies neon and sold it in market place. We put screws in the mirror too so they were always stuck in tow position lol.
The prices anymore blow me away. Every kid with a 70s square body wants $6k now. If you find a 4 door 70s Chevy or ford it almost doesn’t matter what kind of shape it’s in its minimum $15k and they are fuckin proud of the price. I was truck shopping during Covid. What a fuckin nightmare. Idk
@@rodleypumpkins4174 hahahaha classic. Yeah looking for a solid truck on marketplace is like looking for a wife in a sorority party at 1am although unlike my party analogies I’ve actually found a decent couple of them
0:20 this car being 10 miles from me was the cherry on top
How did I know that abomination started out as an Intrepid? At least it was a second gen and not the glorious first gen.
Dude those miata kits are worth sooooo much money. It was a super popular kit back in the day and the guys that love them its a huge cult following.
8:38 is that a miata with a frigging Shelby cobra front clip.....😂
You Can Do It!!! You Can Pick Up Alot Of People In That Intrepid.....
I woke up in the drunk tank *(SKRRT)*
It's like having guy friends without having to talk to moids, thanks guys 👍🏼
I wanna know how fast the due body is it looks intriguing
"kiiilll mee" nailed it lmao
I've actually been to the St. Ignace car show. It's a litte town just north of the Mackinac Bridge but the show is huge
Was that pex on the engine?
The S13 wasn’t that bad looking, just needed a deep cleaning and a soapy wash. The Pulsar didn’t have that many miles on it, it’s at 105k but it’s a 25 year old car, that comes down to 4200 miles a year, which is really good for a car of that age.
Did the Dubody sell? I tried to find it, but appeared to be gone.
gran turismo concept can never happen again
Tbh, although car audio builds aren't my thing I think that S14 is a piece of art. I can't imagine how long that took to fabricate, not to mention the feeling of accomplishing Front cover on a magazine with it and actually seeing it complete. By Pimp My Ride Standards, that thing is a 10. By typical S-Chassis standards, I don't think I'd own it - But still super cool!
I’m 10 months late to this but I’m glad I found you guys. You guys are 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I would never buy the Du body but the craftsmanship is impressive
THe Dodge Intrepid has been listed for at least a year in my area. Its bad
I woke up in a new Du Body!
If they don't sell it, maybe I can go check out that 240, not saying I want it. It's only a couple hours away.
Some reason I love the $1200 mx5 w the weird front end 😂
I floored my Evo with no boost 😂 left the oil cap off. The funny thing. The gas mileage and throttle response at low RPMs with no oil cap was actually incredible 😂. By far the highest gas mileage I ever got. Honestly, if I ever have to rebuild again, I’m getting a 2.5L stroker kit and going naturally aspirated in this thing with a high compression ratio. Would last 500K miles probably.
That Subie though, asking double what it’s worth imo. KBB value max $6600 In excellent condition.
The DuBody is insane lol. That guy has so much skill, and yet it looks like he designed it by fucking randomly selecting the parts.
Seriously, if he paired up with someone who could tell what looks good from what looks awful, the results would be incredible. I want to hate the DuBody but I love it at the same time.
couldn't pay me to touch that dodge
the dubody is what it looks like when you follow through im impressed they need to take the first pic down tho
Stacks in my backpack, shades on, hat back
Bugatti bat black, where they do that at?
We need more info on that last custom car.
What color is your dubody?
I would like to call Kevin for a wellness check.
Its actually a good thing he said that. Flooring a turbo car in a high gear eith no boost built up is how you bend rods and cause lspi.
The white miata with the baddy fitted front reminds me of a blob fish.
What the guy means about flooring it with no boost on the Subaru Impreza wagon, what he's saying is he has never wild in negative boost just put the pedal to the floor he's always been in positive boost anytime he's ever gave it the beans which is a lot easier on the motor
