So happy I’m not the only one watching it in the summer of 2022. I’ve seen this movie about five times it never gets old. I can honestly say this literally changed my views about real life relationships. This movie alone did that, more than any class I’ve taken or book I’ve read.
I never heard of this movie when it came out.5 yrs later I watch it on cable at 3am.The best movie!!Doesnt preach or judge just a classic love story!!💕

I felt like this movie is a grand movie, it really breaks down barriers and I just feel like if the man or woman is treating you right and doing what he or she is suppose to it shouldn't matter what race he or she is or what people would say bout you, at the end of day.....its about your happiness
Definitely! You can't blame someone based on their race and also you can't disrespect others based on their race! I don't think the movie broke barriers really, I felt like she was so in her own world and he was trying and trying to fit into hers, but she never gave him credit, I felt sad for him, nobody deserves that kind of treatment!
Not only was their chemistry great it really was a well written script. It touched on topics and misconceptions based on the idea of race yet didnt overwhelm or beat you over the head with them but really got you to see the struggles of a developing relationships where people may have similar but different backgrounds based on race and perception of race and interracial connections and allowing others to define what makes a relationship acceptable
I love this movie and the way love found them both, love has no color, the connection you have with a person is what matters and what makes you happy.... be yourself
I watched this movie for the first time 12 or so years ago, and still love it even today! It never gets old. Their chemistry is off the charts, Simon Baker is such eye candy, and the idea of interracial marriages were so taboo in my culture, so this movie always drew me in. Such a classic, it should honestly be available to watch for free on RUclips.
Love knows no race, if he/she loves you and he's/ she's kind and decent, and you feel the same way , why should you care what close minded people think? Love IS Love.

I imagine if Simon Baker and sanaa lathan have a baby, there's gonna be gorgeous baby..handsome, charming with dark skin.. Well, that's just my imagination anyway..would be nice if there would be a sequel of this movie, biracial loved it's always a great story to tell.
