Thats not really the genius of Bach, that's just the way arranged sounds work. if it flows and it sounds good, it will sound good.
Bach is the greatest composer that ever lived, his well tempered clavier is a masterpiece.

I've listened to much of Malmsteen and different neo classical guitarists, but can say this after watching your videos. You're talent and ability to arrange these pieces so that they ACTUALLY sound like originals is nothing short of amazing! Really hope you continue making videos, especially videos like this!

RSProduxx Dude, yep. I don’t really listen to metal now. All I do is listen to classical now and Gregoria’s chant. Occasionally I’ll try to find a metal Classical like this.
There is a tradition of metal covers of classical songs, but they aren't very diverse. This is a straight cover that brings very little to the mix.
This was hypnotic. It's almost as if I could imagine the tune before I heard it.

Il serait probable que Jean-Sébastien Bach, là où il se trouve et en écoutant cette musique, interprétée de la sorte, pourrait se demander s'il ne l'aurait pas spécialement écrit pour cet instrument tellement "c'est extra" comme le chantait Léo Ferré. Un accordéoniste, jouant ce compositeur, se demandait si elle n'avait pas été écrite pour son instrument et je me demande si chaque musicien, l'interprétant, ne se poserait pas la même question. Vous l'aurez compris sans doute, j'adore cette universalité, l'art c'est cela avant tout, intemporel et sans frontière, merci Laura, c'est sublime.

Sometimes, I watch guitar videos and think about the technique. I'll have thoughts like "yes, I can achieve this" or "I would interpret this part differently".
Nope, not here. Not only is it technically impressive, but all movements make sense, and the tone sounds clean. It's perfect. It's amazing. Bach smiles from heaven when he sees the love and care you put into his work.
I would be proud of this accomplishment. I can't wait to hear more from you!

MAN, fingerstyling has turned the guitar into about ten times the instrument it was previous to that manner of play. Very nice!
@dread true True, it is physically accomplished by tapping (off or on (hammerons), or plucking), but I think the whole 'mode' of play is called fingerstyle guitar...is that not true?
I wouldn't be surprised if some people have used hammering for centuries either, but I think it has been relatively recent that it has come into large scale use. I'm not a guitarist, so I'm just relating what I have seen and heard them saying, but that is the way I understand it. Cheers.

SLAP, like bass? Davie504 is another channel favorite of mine, totally silly, quite funny, I think. And that dude really CAN slap that bass, I wanna tell ya.
I'm half seriously thinking about picking up the keyboard in the office I got years ago and learning...who knows....maybe. There seems to be a lot of good free info out there now on learning keyboards.

@dread true i first saw a tapping album of guitar insrumental in 1978 when disco was going out and "new" wave was just coming in. the market was starving for new stuff.

I must admit, I am not a fan of "classics in rock" anymore. I mean I was when I was a kid. Now I believe the drums and plates, how would I put it.... "simplify" the music of the period. But this girl plays very well. With no compromise. Please continue!
I do agree. All the rythmic patterns exists within the music itself. Drums and bass are often redundant. I hope the girl will find her way and develope her art.
I don't like the drums or bass here. I wonder what it would sound like clean too - I think I'd prefer the definition in the notes. I wonder what it would sound like with death metal double kick and an evil choir though.
