You'll need to choose a pitcher, preferably a starter, as your main role from what I've found. The problem comes from your hitting stats being super low at the beginning so you'll probably be DH'd for or pulled. Only the Pacific League uses DH's so to improve the odds you can pick a Central League team. To get around this if you make a player in Spirits mode first and can manage to improve both your hitting stats alongside your pitching so you have a high star level you can then use that player in Star Player by selecting original. I'm working on a Spirits overview video as well as some others but it's pretty easy to make a good 2 way player as long as you get enough points.
I'm working on a Spirits mode video currently but Star Player will be next. Due to how much there is to cover along with how long it takes to play that mode it may take a while unfortunately. By progress do you mean increasing stats and abilities or general game progression? As for leaving your team I'm not sure, I always stayed with the same team in the previous version so never explored if it was an option but can look into it while I record the video.
Thinking of picking up a copy for the PS5 when I go to japan tomorrow, dang i wish the translation was available for consoles also LOL. Edit: also I'd love to hear your thoughts if you could make a review on the game!
Safe journeys, I hope you enjoy your trip! If you're unsure on the game you could always try and find a second hand copy of the 2019 version which would be far cheaper, around ¥1500-2000, to test out if you like it or not, then grab this later on if you do enjoy it. I've been thinking of doing a review or overall impressions on the game but will try and get these tutorials and guides out first to help out more people.
The main differences are the roster, online play being switched off now, no MyBallPark mode and the high school mode is a little different. Instead of being the manager you create a player to play through high school games. You can still do seasons, star player, edit and all the other things. The visuals are not as good compared to the new game understandably but the gameplay is pretty much the same. There's a good review of 2019 and 2024/25 by The Famicast that's worth a watch if you want it explained much better than I can here 😂
Would be great to know what screen settings work and don't. I know for other games it requires borderless mode but I'm unable to test myself. Hope it all works for you and you enjoy the game!
@CheckedSwing Works perfectly on the Steam version following the exact instructions in the video. Only had a few instances where Google Translate on my phone gave a more accurate translation, but overall its great.
That's awesome to hear! There are a lot of settings to choose between different translation engines and services but I found sticking with the default Google stuff was fine enough. Thanks for the update!
It's working thanks
it works really well thank you
@@Gyro888 Good to hear, thanks for watching! Hope this allows you to enjoy the game more.
Thank you btw how to make 2 way player in rising star at the start??
