    Jazz is what she has always done best. When I've seen her live... she always sings best when she is singing her slower songs or covers from other artists when is just her sat at the piano. The woman can really sing and people just don't realise it because most of her songs are pop/typical chart music.

    • @G_Kchrst
      @G_Kchrst 9 лет назад +136

      Her songs are not typical Pop. It's commercial music but it's not typical music. Gaga's music is always unique and experimental.

    • @sm1921
      @sm1921 9 лет назад +41

      HelloImElsa Most of her songs actually do not tend to be pop songs or "chart toppers" as you said, but experimental and unique songs as AngelGiannis said. In fact, she often employs sarcasm in her songs. Even her most "pop" songs and "typical chart music" have more experimental qualities than your average pop song, and at least some of her rise to fame can be attributed to this uniqueness.

      ***** She has already proven herself as a vocal powerhouse and is one of the only pop artists today who can truly sing her own songs. This was not the first proof of her talent singing, she can dance and sing like no one else at the same time, she has raised the standard of performers in Pop music today and her Jazz album as amazing as it will be (and it will be amazing) is not the first show of her vocal talent, just go see her live, she never lipsincs and she is just amazing, you can't believe what she does day after day after day!

      They were actually going to release an album on January 1, 2014, but then the release date was pushed back to March 18 (on my birthday, which I was so excited about).
      Cheek to Cheek is the upcoming collaboration album by jazz singer Tony Bennett and pop singer Lady Gaga, which was originally scheduled to be released on January 1, 2014. Bennett later confirmed in an interview that the release date has been pushed back to March 2014. However, the album has been delayed until late 2014.

    Le duo le plus improbable ! Tony Bennett et Stefani, alias Lady Gaga ! Lors de l'enregistrement Tony Bennett avait 87 ans soit 60 de plus que Stefani ! Si on connait depuis longtemps le talent de Tony, il est très surprenant de constater que Lady Gaga est une excellente chanteuse de jazz, voix, rythme et un rien de vulgarité pour ce titre qui en demande. Je souhaite que leur CD connaisse le succès car il fallait le faire, et c'est vraiment bien fait !

      Je suis d'accord ! Par contre, une petite rectification: Ce duo, qu'ils ont repris en 2011 (The Lady is a Tramp) était pour l'album de duos "Duets II" de Tony Bennett, album composé de duos avec diverses icones du Jazz (ou non). En revanche, cette année, Tony et Lady Gaga ont bel et bien sorti un album de reprises ensembles, à savoir "Cheek to Cheek" (mais vous le saviez déjà je pense) qui est un vrai album pour seul duo "Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga" :) Bonne soirée à vous, cet album est vraiment bon !

      Jordi Moreno Merci Jordi de cette précision. J'ai écouté pèle mêle plusieurs morceaux. je n'ai pas fait la différence mais les séances en effet étaient différentes. J'ai vu en étal les CD, il y e en effet des duos et des solos si j'n crois les pochettes. toujours est il que ça sort de l'ordinaire et que c'est excellent.

    • @jordimoreno8808

      Jean CHEVLOC De rien :) Oui, Cheek to Cheek est composé de duos entre Tony et LG, mais aussi plusieurs solos de Tony (Don't wait too long - Sophisticated Lady - On a clear day) et aussi LG (Every time we say goodbye - Lush Life - Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered - Bang Bang my baby shot me down), et c'est aussi ça que j'ai trouvé chouette dans ce CD ! =) vraiment très bon.

    I've been a big fan of music for many, many years and I've had artists whose work I have loved (Beatles, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, REM, Bruce Springsteen) but none of them ever made music that I really felt and that moved me. Until I started listening to Lady Gaga, I never knew what it was like to have an artist whose music really connects with you and moves you and brings you happiness and serenity when you have bad times. I used to make fun of people who were fanatical about a singer/musician, whatever--like Elvis fans. But, now I don't anymore because I know what that is like. Hearing her music makes me feel better about things.

      Richard Arroyo I know. I'm excited.
      Hey, did you ever see that garbage about her interview on Extra where she is supposedly possessed by Satan? I saved the real interview to my Random Gaga playlist. But, the supposed Satanist video is ridiculous.

    • @archibaldweatherby9723
      @archibaldweatherby9723 9 лет назад

      Richard Arroyo The haters will do anything to try to discredit her. I've seen a lot of the signs they talk about: Baphomet images, upside down crosses, allegedly using the 666 hand gesture, goat heads, and all that, but I think it stems more from her Black Sabbath influence. Honestly, I don't think she gives much thought to religion, either way.
      Honestly, I got a feeling from the Applause song and video that she was playing with people, because that song was about how she lives for the support of the Monsters, but I think it was also kind of a screw you to the critics. I think she used some of the darker images to play on the whole "Lady Gaga Stanist/Illuminati" myth.

    • @archibaldweatherby9723
      @archibaldweatherby9723 9 лет назад +1

      Yep. Lady Gaga is a genius--quite literally. People take her for granted because of her unique sense of visual artistry and fashion, and they don't really give her music a chance. I've been studying and analyzing Artpop extensively of late. I connected with it right away. I think it's over the heads of those who bash it for it's lyricism and supposed lack of theme because they are way off on that. I think a lot of people just don't understand or get her.

      Richard Arroyo What's with LGBT and her? Like the only time I hear about her something about being gay or whatever goes with it. Is it because she is so eccentric? I know she supports them but lots of artists do.
