I forgot to mention two important things! 1. AvoidJW has the original video, so I added the link to the description. Big thanks to their team who helped me access it when I was having computer problems like a Kitboga character. 2. After the interview with Phil, Tony says that after Phil’s experience the organization no longer sends people to college. I meant to comment on this, but I guess there’s not much to say other than…it seems untrue lol. It seems like they definitely do still send some of their guys to college (like their new asset managers for example! Maybe!) but we don’t know for sure. But as a commenter pointed out, this could be a reason for deleting the video.

Thanks for that timeline on Philip Brumley. Using it, I figured out something. Philip Brumley had become head of the legal department at the time that his father, George Brumley, was giving marital advice to my husband and me. Maybe you can guess how that turned out. I got marked. George Brumley said how proud he was of his sons in Bethel, and that he had wanted to be there in Bethel, too. I lived in the belly of the beast.
This whole segment is what woke me up. I was in nursing school and I had to meet with elders and CO. They said I was selfish and too focuses on school even though I was an MS and pioneer in a foreign language. I watched this video and by myself debunked all this nonsense of no college. After that day I started doing that to every video. I woke up by my own reasoning and I didn’t look at “apostate” material until I realize all this was nonsense

I went to law school after leaving and offer this: Brumley is completely delusional if he thinks an invisible entity is guiding him while doing legal work. It's why he keeps getting himself in trouble. He refuses to put the rule of law over his beliefs. The law, in the hands of competent practitioners, generally gets it right even if it takes time, because, in a proactive, free, secular society injustice is ultimately defeated. JWs won in the 40's not because of J-man but because JWs happened to be on the right side of the issue when it came to the fundamental rights of free speech, freedom of assembly, and civil rights (although ironically, they suppress these very rights internally.) JWs consistently lose on the topic of CSA because it doesn't matter who is trying to argue on its behalf, they're on the wrong side of the issue, Jehovah or not. Neither of these, civil rights or JWs stance on handling abusers, will ever be close calls.
You said " rule of law " . Is this your idea of a bizarre joke? The law is based on the Bible. There is a copy in every courtroom. You place your hand on it to swear an oath. Bet they didn't teach you that in law school

@altworldly it can take 7 to 8 years to become a lawyer. You must fist get bachelor's degree or first four years of prelaw. I think you have to take an exam to get into law school like you do medical school. It's like the SAT at higher level.

Jake, I have a feeling that they took this down because WT is once again sending Bethelites to law school. In truth, they never stopped. During the proclaimed prohibited time I knew a sister who had an all-expenses paid trip to law school. That was kept under the radar. Something I never heard anyone ask about Brumley is what about his bachelor’s degree? He was sent to law school, but the way the story is told it does not include the prerequisite bachelor’s degree. Did he already have it? Judah Schroeder, son of GB member Albert Schroeder, got his bachelor’s degree on the WT Society’s dime and then went to Columbia Law (not sure if that was on WT as well).

YESSS 🙌 I originally heard that from a psychologist, speaking of narcissists: Every accusation they make is a confession. Listen closely. Applies to cults as well.
If peanut truly believes the org's success in Court cases is ALL down to big J - then he's been doing a pretty shit job the last several years or so. I suggest he should be barred by the law society (for out right lying, so much so that he was fined by the judge) for ever practicing law again.
@@ucanliv4ever The prophecy of Zephaniah, which finds its ultimate fulfillment during the fiery day of Jehovah, similarly indicates that God operates within a grouping of men who are princes and priests, but who do violence to the law, ultimately betraying him and proving unfaithful. Zephaniah 3:3-5 states: “Her princes within her are roaring lions. Her judges are wolves in the night; they do not leave even a bone to gnaw until morning. Her prophets are insolent, treacherous men. Her priests defile what is holy; they do violence to the law. Jehovah is righteous in her midst; he does no wrong. Morning by morning he makes known his judgments, as unfailing as the daylight. But the unrighteous one knows no shame.” When the Watchtower makes abused children their adversaries at law, can it not rightly be said of them that they “know no shame”? Isaiah also foretells the judgment of the princes under the Prince of princes, where God says: “Your first forefather sinned, and your own spokesmen have rebelled against me. So I will profane the princes of the holy place, and I will give Jacob over to destruction and subject Israel to insulting words.” - Isaiah 43.Judgement is coming.
I wonder how much help Phildo/Lionel Hutz got from Jehovah on his Con Law exam? It’s crazy to me to think this guy was plucked out of the wood shop (“hey, Phil, when you’re done planing that board we need you to become a lawyer”) and sent first to undergrad for four years then law school for another four years (he must have gone at night because it normally takes three). I’m a lawyer and law school teaches you, above all else, critical thinking. He must have been praying non-stop for strength to withstand the non-stop assault of ideas. A modern day Daniel.
The problem is critical thinking and independent reasoning based on rules and circumstance is pretty much the bar exam... And toxic to staying a witness.
Yes. I sow that part…..they use the name of Jehovah and Jesus , when they are the Target God will hit to destroy them….lairs ..hypocrites…abusers…wicked…satanic people..
The top GB men of the JWS are inviting people into their tent of false prophesying apostasy, share in their sins of disloyalty to Jesus and Jehovah and become subservient to their established power to which they have created through their own inherent sins. ......and bring your money $$$ too if you don't mind
Just a side note, it’s so cringe to hear GB members especially Losch say “Behind the Scenes.” It feels like everything happens behind the scenes, to make things sound deeper than they actually are.
Like the wizard of Oz behind the curtain. The whole thing is just a pipe dream of the whole lot, and they managed to get snookered into it. Wake up from this fairy tale before it's too late.

He had a Bachelor's and was in carpentry or something, GB paid for him to go to top school, Columbia in NYC! Wish they had paid me. You have to have a love or talent for that field of study as you do for med school as well. He messed up big time recently. I wish him well, but maybe if he had dreamed of law school instead of "drafted" to it. I don't know. Legal Eagle I know said he would NOT want to work for WT even if he got a mansion! Regarding France the gifted get PAID med school and so forth if they excel young in school, There are JW doctors there! I think it might really be a budget message to the poor as it is NOT consistent worldwide! signed, save for retirement.

Phillip Brumley first appeared in the september 1990 WT VHS "Jehovah's Witnesses- the organization behind the name". In that video he appears (uncredited as are ALL people in the video, including the entire 1990 GB line up) speaking on the phone, very arrogantly (or confiently, depending on perspective) saying "For your information, jehovahs witnesses have litigated [x number] of cases, many of them up to the Supreme Court." What i find fascinating about his story- and the spin he gives in this interview to play up the "danger" of university- is that his wife supposedly saw him become "infected" with an arrogance and spirit of competitiom from his courses at Colombia Law. And that he had to spend a lot of time weeding out those traits. And yet his actions as the head of the dept, his sanctions and deception in service to the borg seem to indicate that he retains those traits. Perhaps that little story gives him an excuse when he is a dick in his role of fucking everyone over in the name of protecting the borg. Ian ohlander U/finallyfreetothink
If they're saying they NO LONGER sent people to college, this seems to show that they used to. So whilst discouraging higher education among the rank and file, it's okay for the rank and file to pay for college education for those chosen by the Org.
Representations by a Lawyer [3] An advocate is responsible for pleadings and other documents prepared for litigation, but is usually not required to have personal knowledge of matters asserted therein, for litigation documents ordinarily present assertions by the client, or by someone on the client's behalf, and not assertions by the lawyer. Compare Rule 3.1. However, an assertion purporting to be on the lawyer's own knowledge, as in an affidavit by the lawyer or in a statement in open court, may properly be made only when the lawyer knows the assertion is true or believes it to be true on the basis of a reasonably diligent inquiry. There are circumstances where failure to make a disclosure is the equivalent of an affirmative misrepresentation. The obligation prescribed in Rule 1.2(d) not to counsel a client to commit or assist the client in committing a fraud applies in litigation. Regarding compliance with Rule 1.2(d), see the Comment to that Rule. See also the Comment to Rule 8.4(b). Legal Argument [4] Legal argument based on a knowingly false representation of law constitutes dishonesty toward the tribunal. A lawyer is not required to make a disinterested exposition of the law, but must recognize the existence of pertinent legal authorities. Furthermore, as stated in paragraph (a)(2), an advocate has a duty to disclose directly adverse authority in the controlling jurisdiction that has not been disclosed by the opposing party. The underlying concept is that legal argument is a discussion seeking to determine the legal premises properly applicable to the case. Offering Evidence [5] Paragraph (a)(3) requires that the lawyer refuse to offer evidence that the lawyer knows to be false, regardless of the client's wishes. This duty is premised on the lawyer's obligation as an officer of the court to prevent the trier of fact from being misled by false evidence. A lawyer does not violate this Rule if the lawyer offers the evidence for the purpose of establishing its falsity. [6] If a lawyer knows that the client intends to testify falsely or wants the lawyer to introduce false evidence, the lawyer should seek to persuade the client that the evidence should not be offered. If the persuasion is ineffective and the lawyer continues to represent the client, the lawyer must refuse to offer the false evidence. If only a portion of a witness's testimony will be false, the lawyer may call the witness to testify but may not elicit or otherwise permit the witness to present the testimony that the lawyer knows is false. [7] The duties stated in paragraphs (a) and (b) apply to all lawyers, including defense counsel in criminal cases. In some jurisdictions, however, courts have required counsel to present the accused as a witness or to give a narrative statement if the accused so desires, even if counsel knows that the testimony or statement will be false. The obligation of the advocate under the Rules of Professional Conduct is subordinate to such requirements. See also Comment [9]. [8] The prohibition against offering false evidence only applies if the lawyer knows that the evidence is false. A lawyer's reasonable belief that evidence is false does not preclude its presentation to the trier of fact. A lawyer's knowledge that evidence is false, however, can be inferred from the circumstances. See Rule 1.0(f). Thus, although a lawyer should resolve doubts about the veracity of testimony or other evidence in favor of the client, the lawyer cannot ignore an obvious falsehood. [9] Although paragraph (a)(3) only prohibits a lawyer from offering evidence the lawyer knows to be false, it permits the lawyer to refuse to offer testimony or other proof that the lawyer reasonably believes is false. Because of the special protections historically provided criminal defendants, however, this Rule does not permit a lawyer to refuse to offer the testimony of such a client where the lawyer reasonably believes but does not know that the testimony will be false. Unless the lawyer knows the testimony will be false, the lawyer must honor the client's decision to testify. See also Comment [7].
Does he not need to have a spirit of competition to battle “Satan” and the world governments? Or does he stand in a court of law & utter humble platitudes hoping that Jehovah intervenes …
Indeed... God doesn't need anything. But every scumbag attorney from sea to shining sea wants Sophie's ice cream money. Anyhow it says in the Bible "defending and legally establishing the good news "
3:34 @altworldly, the game they were playing here was corporate shell game. A long time ago they started the game of establishing different corporations to control different parts of the organization to try and shield themselves from liability. So in this case, WTPA is a different entity from WTNY or CCJW. What got them caught was that there were old court cases where it was shown that WTPA was definitely doing the exact things they swear it doesn't do.

You will need higher education to get to university for higher paid work like a king"s councillor of law doctors nurses teachers where do Jehovah's witnesses think they will get these people from.
So ... Jehovah is spiritually supporting and guiding the JW Ministry of Truth legal team in the many legal battles such as the child abuse cases , the refusal of the Ministry of Truth to hand over secret records of these cases and the recent Royal commission into child abuse in Australia? And also in the recent case in Norway where due to the effects of the shunning policies even on teenagers etc the JW were deregistered as a religion eligible for funding from the gov and were found to be lying in their court statements? Is Jehovah also helping the likes of the chief lawyer in JW Australia ( Vince Otoole?) where he basically claimed ( on oath) that he had little idea on how the JW hierarchy was managed? My goodness, if thats the case then the help and support they are getting is not very good is it? But the JW leadership DO admit that simultaneously they are not inspired by God but God directly guides them in anycase. So yes little wonder that learning how to think critically is discouraged within the Ministry of Truth.
These guys needs to get off their high horses and take a copy of Bible and go from door to door and share its message. Leave Headquarter and be out there in the cold and hot weather and preach the Bible message. Majority of JWs have just tuned out from them.
6:18 is as biblical as it can get. Satan does legally challenge Christ's believers in Revelation 12:10 until he is thrown down. HaSatan is based on the idea of heavenly court (matthew 24, Revelation 14). Christ is the deputy and defender of believers (Romans 4:4-5, 10:9). That is why his righteoussness is imputed onto us. He have none of our own in God's court.

YESSS 🙌 I originally heard that from a psychologist, speaking of narcissists: Every accusation they make is a confession. Listen closely. Applies to cults as well.
I Enjoyed this video! Thanks for your hard work putting it together.
So glad I follow my inner voice to go to school. Glad now to no longer be watchtower's slave. Christ is my watchtower.
Enjoy ur videos! I just watched ur story, it was good! Sorry ur health isn’t great, to put it lightly!!
"The spirit of competition and somehow your special"? ....heck thats the body of Elders I served with in a nutshell!
Fantastic content ... thank you ... pulling back the curtain from The Wizard Of OZ....❤ JW CULT
You beat me to it. 😂 🧙♂️🪄
If peanut truly believes the org's success in Court cases is ALL down to big J - then he's been doing a pretty shit job the last several years or so.
I suggest he should be barred by the law society (for out right lying, so much so that he was fined by the judge) for ever practicing law again.
Wrong...every attention grabbing headline with millions in awards have all been reversed on appeal
ABSOLUTE B|S - if you know what that means. It's time for you to take your head out of the sand & start doing some IN-DEPTH RESEARCH @ucanliv4ever.
RobynbAss, and you know that because Fox and CNN told you
@@ucanliv4ever The prophecy of Zephaniah, which finds its ultimate fulfillment during the fiery day of Jehovah, similarly indicates that God operates within a grouping of men who are princes and priests, but who do violence to the law, ultimately betraying him and proving unfaithful. But the unrighteous one knows no shame.”
When the Watchtower makes abused children their adversaries at law, can it not rightly be said of them that they “know no shame”?
Isaiah also foretells the judgment of the princes under the Prince of princes, where God says: “Your first forefather sinned, and your own spokesmen have rebelled against me. So I will profane the princes of the holy place, and I will give Jacob over to destruction and subject Israel to insulting words.” - Isaiah 43.Judgement is coming.
WT Lawyers will have to face Heavens Court soon.
Thanks Jake. Another awesome take.
OMG!!!!! The video at theend discouraging highereducation!!! 😮😮😮
Yes. I sow that part…..they use the name of Jehovah and Jesus , when they are the Target God will hit to destroy them….lairs ..hypocrites…abusers…wicked…satanic people..
Thanks for doing this.
grreat coverage on brumley
Very interesting. Thank-you.
Grazie del buon lavoro che hai fatto per creare questo video.ciao
Totally above board and not at all shady. Business as usual.
The top GB men of the JWS are inviting people into their tent of false prophesying apostasy, share in their sins of disloyalty to Jesus and Jehovah and become subservient to their established power to which they have created through their own inherent sins.
......and bring your money $$$ too if you don't mind
Philip Brumly the walking loser horn from the Price is right 🎺
Just a side note, it’s so cringe to hear GB members especially Losch say “Behind the Scenes.” It feels like everything happens behind the scenes, to make things sound deeper than they actually are.
Like the wizard of Oz behind the curtain. The whole thing is just a pipe dream of the whole lot, and they managed to get snookered into it. Wake up from this fairy tale before it's too late.
The fairy tale is the world, not the wt
Great video
Credit to you for exposing wickedness, may YHWH keep you.
This video is GOLD
Thanks ❤
Schafer seriously looks like Howdy Doody.
good call i always thought the same!
Thanks i love your videos
Not a formeren jahova but verry interested
If Big J is winning these cases, then why not just send a janitor down to the courthouse and skip all of this "learning" crap?
I was just talking to my PIMI husband about him…..1st thing he wanted to know if this guy was an actual JW great to know this info don’tcha love the law of attraction
Ok the RUclips gods wont let me say what I want to say about Brumley 😒
Thanks!
It's true. In Australia I knew radiographers, nurses and one teacher. (1985 - he didn't last long, but the date is telling.) They're the reason I "studied" (lol. What a joke word) for longer than I should have.
They are doing everything they possibly can to stop the hemorrhaging of followers leaving in droves because the true Heavenly Father is lifting the veil and his people are waking up 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Phillip Brumley first appeared in the september 1990 WT VHS "Jehovah's Witnesses- the organization behind the name".
In that video he appears (uncredited as are ALL people in the video, including the entire 1990 GB line up) speaking on the phone, very arrogantly (or confiently, depending on perspective) saying "For your information, jehovahs witnesses have litigated [x number] of cases, many of them up to the Supreme Court."
What i find fascinating about his story- and the spin he gives in this interview to play up the "danger" of university- is that his wife supposedly saw him become "infected" with an arrogance and spirit of competitiom from his courses at Colombia Law.

I may be wrong here, and correct me if I am, but last time I checked law school is higher education.
If they're saying they NO LONGER sent people to college, this seems to show that they used to. So whilst discouraging higher education among the rank and file, it's okay for the rank and file to pay for college education for those chosen by the Org.
Brumley looks like the father of the villain in Blade 2.
Definitely forgot my name was in the crawl.. like what??? Me?
i can’t even living my life this, it’s so obvious not to serve god but to save face & also there almighty governing body
@altworldly I guess you could say that the Watchtower lawyer made such an ass of himself that his new name is Phillip BUMley 😁
If the praise goes to Jehovah when they win in court, who is to blame when they lose? How can Jehovah be defeated in court? What's their explanation?
Representations by a Lawyer
[3] An advocate is responsible for pleadings and other documents prepared for litigation, but is usually not required to have personal knowledge of matters asserted therein, for litigation documents ordinarily present assertions by the client, or by someone on the client's behalf, and not assertions by the lawyer.
Legal Argument
[4] Legal argument based on a knowingly false representation of law constitutes dishonesty toward the tribunal.
Offering Evidence
[5] Paragraph (a)(3) requires that the lawyer refuse to offer evidence that the lawyer knows to be false, regardless of the client's wishes.
I sure miss Tony!
Does he not need to have a spirit of competition to battle “Satan” and the world governments? Or does he stand in a court of law & utter humble platitudes hoping that Jehovah intervenes …
Can I just ask the very obviously? Why on Earth would God need a lawyer?
The apostle Paul was a lawyer
@@ucanliv4ever I'm not saying that lawyers should be excluded from religion, but God doesn't need a lawyer any more than God needs a dentist.
Indeed... God doesn't need anything. But every scumbag attorney from sea to shining sea wants Sophie's ice cream money. Anyhow it says in the Bible "defending and legally establishing the good news "
Phillipians 1:7
3:34 @altworldly, the game they were playing here was corporate shell game. A long time ago they started the game of establishing different corporations to control different parts of the organization to try and shield themselves from liability. So in this case, WTPA is a different entity from WTNY or CCJW. What got them caught was that there were old court cases where it was shown that WTPA was definitely doing the exact things they swear it doesn't do.
No $#*+ Sherlock... they weren't "caught ". Jehovah doesn't get caught. He catches you
@@ucanliv4ever WT is not Jehovah.
Touchè...the watchtower wasn't "caught " either. You are being mislead. We don't know why the video was pulled. So in your haste to impute wrong motives, just remember that the purpose of the watchtower inc is to exalt Jehovah. So by law it is not allowed to do anything to the contrary. Hence, the decision to remove the video will always be based on that governing policy. And to that end, nothing nefarious is going on.
I'm 52 could've gotten a good ride to a good college, but that was wrong and Armageddon is close. I still have dreams about pseudocollege, by which i mean there are a lot of kids there i knew from high school, and i miss a lot of classes because, well, I'm 52 and i have a day job. Must stem from regrets.
Ngl man i need some tea on Tony morris ..... is he living under a rock how's there no updates on him
NEW LIGHT FOR JW !
IL BATTESIMO CRISTIANO È VALIDO SOLO SE COME DICE LA BIBBIA: NEL NOME DEL PADRE, DEL FIGLIO E DELLO SPIRITO SANTO !
LA SALVEZZA È SOLO NEL NOME DEL SIGNORE GESÙ CRISTO !
Make gravity real in your life
These people are so creepy….
Can someone please search for the 'deleted video that it is not archived and not deleted? (I was told videos get archived and you need to search better) Please let me know!
Jehovah's witnesses literally want "this system of things" to fail so they get their everlasting life they've been promised
What a delusion that the Jehovah's Witnesses are living in.
What a delusion that the Jehovah's Witnesses are living in.
Why do JWs frown on higher education but have lawyers with JD degrees?
Because they are hypocrites. It's that simple.
Oh Bull. Talk about fake humility. Was he ever “disfellowshipped” or “marked” due to his attitude?
If all success goes to big J, doesnt that mean that all failures go to big J too?
Oh , by the Way ......Moses was a screw up too. In fact it cost him his chance to experience , the Promise land .
Why do they have educational lawyer ?
I guess his armageddon has come. He won't be needed anymore. He got to take up construction job
Jesse Morris does not know what Critical Thinking is.
Being "ambitious" is a character flaw?
What creepy ass people 😂
He got fired from Watchtower, or disfellowshipped perhaps?
It’s not his underbite that’s notable it’s his complete absence of an upper lip
Creepy level 10.
Did Bromley have an undergraduate degree before going to Bethel?
You will need higher education to get to university for higher paid work like a king"s councillor of law doctors nurses teachers where do Jehovah's witnesses think they will get these people from.
They dont think about this
So ... Jehovah is spiritually supporting and guiding the JW Ministry of Truth legal team in the many legal battles such as the child abuse cases , the refusal of the Ministry of Truth to hand over secret records of these cases and the recent Royal commission into child abuse in Australia? And also in the recent case in Norway where due to the effects of the shunning policies even on teenagers etc the JW were
deregistered as a religion eligible for funding from the gov and were found to be lying in their court statements? Is Jehovah also helping the likes of the chief lawyer in JW Australia ( Vince Otoole?) where he basically claimed ( on oath) that he had little idea on how the JW hierarchy was managed? My goodness, if thats the case then the help and support they are getting is not very good is it? But the JW leadership DO admit that simultaneously they are not inspired by God but God directly guides them in anycase. So yes little wonder that learning how to think critically is discouraged within the Ministry of Truth.
Wauw
These guys needs to get off their high horses and take a copy of Bible and go from door to door and share its message. Leave Headquarter and be out there in the cold and hot weather and preach the Bible message. Majority of JWs have just tuned out from them.
B - A - R - F 🤮
6:18 is as biblical as it can get. Satan does legally challenge Christ's believers in Revelation 12:10 until he is thrown down.
HaSatan is based on the idea of heavenly court (matthew 24, Revelation 14). Christ is the deputy and defender of believers (Romans 4:4-5, 10:9).
That is why his righteoussness is imputed onto us. He have none of our own in God's court.
I wonder if he works for free for this "jehova".
