What a mind blowing city is Manila
Huge support from Pakistan
Love you philphin
Thank you so much 😊
Very nice. Never knew manila is such a beautiful and big city.
It's where the RICH and urban dirt-poor co-exist. Tall skyscrapers amongst a sea of SLUMS.
Philippines will be great again!
Yep also i live in Manila but im a Filipino
Love that skyline view! Such high density all in one 😃
I've seen this in person and it looks much better in it.
Metro Manila
If taken as one contiguous agglomeration it is one of the biggest megacities in the world
ie the whole urban sprawl beyond the official city boundaries of Manila
That’s a great view , when ever I fly back home to London the views into Heathrow are incredible and makes me
Feel so proud lol 👍
Thank you for watching this too! I love the approach into Heathrow, especially when we see other aircraft circling around 😍
I love the guy talking on the phone at background hes pissed of knowing that the person whos about to fetch him has not left their home yet,,,and yes he did let them know that his pissed such sweet and poetic words that he uttered!!!🤣🤣🤣
hahaha love that!! Thanks for the translation!
I just saw ortigas, bgc and makati cbd 💜
Great landing video! Thanks for sharing. I flew into Manila on a Qantas flight from Sydney but it lands early evening so was dark so didn't get to see this awesome view.
Cool i just came back from my one month holiday. I went on Philippine Airlines on their A330 From melbourne.
Beautiful approach & nice video. Welcome to the Philippines.
thanks David :)
smooth landing...and nice video.
Beautifull city
Spectacular view of Metro Manila !!!
Thanks for watching :)
very smooth landing, haven't even heard the sound of the plane touching the ground.
Same
the great thing about manila compared to other asian cities is that you can see that it still has a vast area that is still green!!!!
agree!
wow spectacular video!! amazing approach over my city, i can see my apartment :D
smooth touchdown!
Great view particularly the Makati and Taguig 🛬✌️
Metro manila still has wide greeneries..
No, not really. There are only a handful of of public parks.
@@OnilMarteNavarroza how about fairways (private and public), memorial parks and the Lamesa watershed aren't they considered greeneries?
Er.. that's why I said only a handful. Of course there are but in comparison to other cities in other countries, public parks in Manila are nothing.
@@OnilMarteNavarroza well i'm giving my thoughts base on the view from the top or birds eyeview of the metropolis in this video. I did not distinguish weather it is a public park or greeneries inside private developments. Obviously greeneries are all around Metro Manila.
hell no. Most of the greneery you see in this video are mountains/areas outside of official metro manila boundaries. you can even check google maps/earth.
God, I miss my hometown
Yo that was a smooth landing
wow that was a smooth touch down
indeed!
Metro Manila is more skyline than Los Angeles 🤔 I think ,maybe compared to New York Skyline 🇵🇭🇺🇸
Smooth landing.
I saw that Xiamen Air 737 which skidded off the runway during a thunderstorm, cancelled my flight lol
Awesome
Nice! I also videoed and posted same view, but sadly it was smoggy.
Because it is very smooth
💖
I miss this view....
Great!
aircraft making the sharp turn above the hills of antipolo at 1:27.
at approximately around 2:54 it passes overhead our house :)
I so wish I was on this plane right now.
Me too... more than I can say.
That's why I'm watching these vids.
@@masesharp6009 not long now. Just a few months and we’ll be back in the land of smiles.
beautiful landing video
thanks mate!
Arrr the good olds days when we could freely fly.
Hoping for the updated 2023 video of manila skyline ❤
I rate that touchdown 5.5 stars
I’m patiently waiting for the Philippines to reopen for the US. 😭
I’ve been wanting to go too for the first time. I’m live in Los Ángeles California. Never been there.
As me a us citizen when it open will I need a visa or just a passport
PH is nice from above. Go to the cities and a dump hole. Go outside the cities, its a gem.
I’m coming here is 3 weeks and 3 day ❤
I love
Philippine airlines one day will board you
Try PR’s A350 or A321neo soon!
I love how the man is using phone while in a landing roll
Massive.
a megacity indeed! :)
Yeah, metro manila on airial view, look like 9o% are shanty houses, of all squaters area of the whole manila you can't see the highways or streets on air, but full of squaters houses!!!!
Spectacular aerial view of the slums of Manila
My house is down there somewhere in Cainta.
Welcome to Philippines ☝🏻💟
thank you!
@@ExpressFlyer ☺
4:41 what is that 'L' shaped building towards the bottom of screen in the middle. Seen it many times on landing, is it commercial or residential building?? 4:44 is a close up view
That’s SM Aura in Bonifacio Global City.
A shopping mall
@@random-accessmemory9201 Hi thanks for that 😉. Never seen ANY building shaped like that before
Nice review 😊 any plans to fly BA soon?
unfortunately no :(
I see a NAIA airport by the distance
It's kind of nuts how Manila almost looks like Manhattan.
too bad you didnt zoom the makati and manila skyline on approach..but nevertheless spectacular landing view of metro manila...
0:16 I think this is it...
looks like Philippines is a very rich country...
it’s certainly progressing!
We arent
6:04 B737 with problems...
Hi
hey Daniel!
imagine ryanair operating here LMAO
there will be more 737 parked next to that xiamen😂
I think i saw a 737 break

5:59 Philippine Airlines A340 isn't retiring yet!
they're all retired in 2018. Unless they kept some still in the Phillipines?
@@ExpressFlyer I don't know.
None of A340 were kept
Let's Go Brandon!!!
Be careful, Jayden, in Manila. They eat handsome young guys like you there :o
omg you're so funny!!
@@ExpressFlyer Well, maybe not "eat" all of you, but they would definitely nibble bits round the edges ;)
Any good view or impressions would be ruined by "bukas-maleta" in NAIA. Nakakahiya mga magnanakaw.
Manila. 10% high rise buildings/ financial centers, 50% low to mid level income residential area, 35% slums, 5% others . . . Nothing to be proud of.
Not true. stop spreading lies here.
If there's one not to be proud of, it's you.
@@randomly_random_0 refer to stats u damn asshole
