i have a theory on the dad reversing with the arm.
When you are young, flexible and have some abdominal muscles (gained from hours down the gym lifting weights in a lame and ultimate futile attempt to impress Blonde haired Tracey from the PA department who you'd fancied since you were 17), you could turn your torso round and hold it twisted, un-aided. But after you got married, you stopped going to the gym (as no need to impress the woman you're married too..... ) lost those muscles, and became stiff and immobile after hours sat at your desk at "Harris, Bussenburner and Son" the Loss Adjusters for whom you work, and now, to hold your torso twisted enough to be able to look over your shoulder, you need to actually use your arm, locked behind the passenger seat to hold that position........

This is the only time I have ever heard, or ever will hear the phrase “I’m not suggesting the lute isn’t fucking annoying” 😂

I hate to admit it but I had to back halfway down the block tonight to get a prime parking space and I totally did the dad reversing thing. Scary part? I don't have any kids....I think it's just something men do when they reach a certain age.

I just realized why they did the thing with the tire pressure.
The engine's in the back so tire pressure at the front has to be ridiculously low as there's no weight whatsoever.
Pretty sure people put 1.8 in the back and 2.2 in the front or something and then figured out the thing was a death trap :D.
That thing doing nothing, is a better safety feature than ABS would be :D.

Great little cars. In the late 80's my sister had one with a flip back sunroof. I could sit on top of the drivers seat, looking out of the roof and drive it. Like Noddys car. lol. Will never forget that thing, had to borrow it for a whole week once when my own car broke down. It did an indicated 62mph max. That was it, wind behind you going downhill. 62mph...
