I tried this method and it worked perfectly. My screen went black as I was watching but the sound was ok. I followed your instructions and and the screen cleared from black, back to normal. I had same problem few years ago...display cups inside the TV were damaged so had to change it and was quite costly but after just 2 years same problem arised since yesterday
@@valeriopreviti808 I did exactly what was instructed in this video and it worked. I would recommend trying this method first rather than paying someone for a repair that might not be necessary.
It's the led light strips. Either you need to test with a led tester each strip and individual led if necessary. Then solder a the broken or dim ones, and/or just replace the entire strip without soldering.
