Nice, Seen allot of tying and not many glue every couple of steps. I use glue like it was on sale.🤣 Great looking bait fish, I'm going to put a couple in my arsenal. Thank you.
No a whole feather. Just a bit of the marabou fluffs. Might have been the tight wraps that cut it or just a weak stem, can’t remember. Had to rewatch it to see what you were referring to
The lead eyes placed on the same side as the hook point will keep the hook riding hook point down. They are added for two reasons, eyes and weight. If you place the eyes on the top of the shank (opposite of the hook point) it will invert the hook and cause it to ride point up. Tying them this way you will also benefit from the eyes and weight of adding them, in addition to it riding hook point up
Awesome tie, very detailed. I really enjoyed the arts and crafts part, you explained the colors that should be there to mimic a bait fish.
Damn I love the calm narrative while you work man.
Tying is calming. Thanks man
This is a great looking minnow pattern. I'm going to tie up some for largemouth bass here in North Texas. Thanks for the great tutorial
Quite a great tye. Match the local bait fish and catch a whopper. Thanks it will help a lot of tyers.🎣🤠 Dave Hughes.
That is a great looking pattern and easy to tie. Will have lots of action. Thanks
Yes. The test tank showed a lot of flow. I wanted more marabou but like how it looks when tied a bit sparser
thanks Svenddiesel, I'm gonna try this on reservoir rainbow trout here in the UK, should work! 🙂
That could be a killer walleye fly!
great design, simple and directions. are as good
Great video, thanks Svend.
I think you used just the right amount. If anything less is better. Might even try polar chenille.

This fly looks like I should just pull the cotton out of my pil low an put it on a hook, looks good tho
Great vid
Did you lose one of your olive feathers at the end?

Nice
Do the lead eyes turn the hook over in when fishing the fly? Or are they just there to add weight and color. Great looking fly btw
