Kento Yamazaki who plays Arisu mentioned in an interview that he made sure Arisu looked awkward holding a gun. His character only played games online it wouldn't be realistic for him to be good and comfortable using a real gun.

having a purpose isn't equivalent to your morals. you don't need a purpose to live, anyone lost or on a path should continue to survive i think that's the point arisu tries to convey. the ideology that everyone needs to have a purpose and a role in their life is what often leads to depression and causes ppl to believe their own lives are worthless

When earlier you guys talking about mercy, I think it can be seen with Queen Of Spades. She could choose anybody (adult) on the challenger team, but she choose the kid. She knows that kid cant do anything. And the team would pity him. Imagine if the queen choose somebody adult, I dont think everyone would care, not even Arisu or Usagi. And the queen know she also cannot harm the kid. She know her game is involved physical, and electrick shock. Electric shocking and beat the hell of a little kid? Common sense. She show them mercy. Just my theory. It could be just she want to have fun. And didnt even care at all about that kid. That kid gonna die anyway if their team loses.
I think there is flaw in your theory though. She very much intends to win, which means the person she chooses as king is the person whom she chooses to die with a hundred percent certainty when her win happens and that doesn't scream mercy to me. Also there wouldn't be a need to beat him up because adults could easily catch up with him and tag him without hurting him, since violence was only really needed with the players that can somewhat defend themselves
you wouldn’t want to stay on the queens side because then you’re stuck there forever playing that game, never being able to leave. and like she mentioned, why were there only 3 of them on her side to begin with that’s a bit sus
It's because it's not necessary to always have 16 players like last time maybe there only 4 people on the challengers side and then the king must have been died
I've always thought I'd like to see an Aguni/Akane spin off. I like them as single characters and their dynamics. The apparently shallow young all beauty girly girl and the apparently all muscles, all serious, older tough guy. But she has a fabulous past (narratively speaking) and he has his ghosts (I love the whole story with the mad hatter). They're interesting!
Director has a Masters in Business Analytics. These comments sound funny to me. He literally graduated top of his class at a state university. He’s already operating at a level higher than most and dumbs down his speech so people can keep up and makes jokes funnier.
But don't forget...you were right that frequent posters, no matter what is being said is still coming from people that watch your content and enjoy it still. Far worse than the negative would be for the engagement to stop, cause that would mean a person has lost interest.
