Blake Scagliotti Gaming and More He was stolen. His cloths are gone and so is the animatronic itself. A picture of his head has surfaced online but it’s unknown if that’s the actual head or one that is used as a spare.
I’m not kidding, just search up”Buzzy animatronic head” on google. It’s crazy that someone would go this far to ruin a piece of Disney history.

It's likely that a ton of WDW's power circuits are connected, one switch turns on multiple things. You could see more evidence of this with River Country, back when it still existed. Those brave enough to... "explore" the place, recorded video where you could still hear music playing, and the lights would still automatically come back on at night. The reason these power grids are simply left as-is, is likely a cost-effective measure; it would be expensive to perform maintenance to cut cables and reroute power, adding new limiters and getting everything to work correctly- whereas by leaving it alone, it's just a small charge on the electric bill. So, it goes untouched until the attraction or park is demolished or renovated and reopened.
Yeah that’d be creepy but imagine how much more creepy it was when someone went in there and Buzzy wasn’t there anymore- that would be horrifying!

Bro I saw pictures of Buzzy's head on Reddit. I really feel like if Patrick didn't steal him he defiantly helped someone do so. There is no way Disney would have done such a sloppy job removing him.

The Journey of Walt 😂 sorry about that! It was a small mistake from our narrator 😂 even tho we would love an attraction dedicated to Walt Disney, who agrees?
You were also wrong about a part of Body Wars attraction, it wasn't because of using the lasers that caused a loss of power but during the passage from the heart to the lungs, the main fuel cell were destroyed (how is unclear but probably B-229 got dumped by the artieries or on to the walls of the heart).
Imagine being alone in the room with buzzy, and it's dark, flashlight only, and you're looking around, then buzzy just randomly starts speaking his lines. How spooky would that be?

I think Epcot could do a dark ride style ride that is a journey through walts life. Kids may not like it but his start up is so interesting.
I hope Buzzy gets found soon, he really shouldn't have been stolen in the first place, for obvious reasons.
True. Disney needs to amp up security in their theme parks to keep such thefts from happening (especially by employees).

I feel like over the last 15 years or so Disney has been trying to ruin EVERYTHING.
One could almost argue that the reason for River Country's closure was due to its overwhelming success. Its ability to stay at capacity was not only an inconvenience to park guests, but it also proved to Disney that the implementation of larger themed water recreations, would be a worthwhile investment. The rest is history.
So glad this video is here. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. By seeing the intro, it gives you good vibes.

I actually missed this video being posted, came across it thanks to Slimebeast complaining about your use of "Abandoned by Disney" in the title.
What's hilarious too is he seems to take issue with the fact that there's tons of professional-looking smallish Disney-focused channels on RUclips.
Why would anyone take issue with that?
It's the Sum of ALL Thrills; a play on on words of "the sum of all fears". The phrase doesn't work otherwise without the "all" in there.

I wish they would make a museum. It wouldn't even have to be fancy just a large air conditioned building where people could see some of the old animatronics, props, etc. before they get recycled or so they're not just sitting around rotting. It's just so wasteful.

I dont know why, but the first story of how buzzy was stolen creeps me out knowing that animatronic is just out there somewhere.
Body Wars freaked me out when I was three years old so bad that I have had it forever engrained in my brain (that was the only trip I got to ride it).
I frickin LOVED Cranium Command and the Wonders of Life growing up! Also, Body Wars scared the crap out of me as a kid....

Wasn’t stolen buzzy thing found out to be a hoax and that he was removed from the ride but the paper work wasn’t done properly and Disney reported it as stolen
No, Patrick Spike was arrested, accepted a plea deal, claims he doesn't know what happened to the actual animatronic even though a picture of the bare (paint removed) head was on his phone.
Man, EPCOT really has been a zombified corpse for a long time now. As much as I dislike how so much of the park's history is completely unacknowledged by Disney, and how that dynamic will only be exacerbated by the current reboot in the works, I'm glad that the reboot is happening at all. I absolutely adore the 80s aesthetic that EPCOT Center had for so long, but with all the updates and half-updates, it's so mismatched at this point that it really does feel like a ton of different parks varying in both theme AND quality. I remember the only time I've ever been able to visit myself [still one of my favorite days I've ever experienced] in Summer 2018. You'd adore the love put into upkeep of The Land or Spaceship Earth, then stumble upon the for some reason still operating Innoventions buildings, despite being almost completely empty inside, with only a few, super lame attractions and meet-and-greets still active. I'll always be able to imagine having visited the park in it's prime, and I'll always have so, so many RUclips videos and park history sites to check out online, I don't mind the changes, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't bittersweet. Goodbye forever, Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.

When i was 8, i almost drowned in typhoon lagoon. Shit haunts me but i still love the water, surprisingly i was not saved by a life guard, my uncle pushed himself through the people to the deep end of the wave pool. Owe the guy my life.

Sooooo. Body Wars. Yeah, I had my own special experience on it. I didn't barf, but I thought I was going to pass out. I was so discombobulated and dizzy that I stumbled out, and all I remember are the faces of people staring at me. One person clutched their child. I don't even remember what happened after that. That's when I had to accept those sorts of rides are not for me.

Was just talking about Buzzy with friends a few days ago. They totally got away with stealing him. Nobody knows where he's gone.
Sad about what happened to Buzzy. I hope he is found. In the meantime, I hope Disney learns a valuable lesson about the risks of leaving such beloved animatronics in abandoned places where people can get in.

I don’t think Buzzy was stolen, only his clothes were. Disney removed the animatronic because people who broke in to the area would climb up to get a picture with him and FALL into the area below that was a super deep pit into the backstage area. So they removed him so people wouldn’t climb up if they snuck in.
