After all these years she finally made peace with her comfortable range; decided to use her rich dark tone more often instead of straining when she tries to go above D5. This is so much more pleasant to listen to, when she's finally not oversinging. Knowing oneself is the most important skill, and she's now a true master.
She doesn't really have much of a consistent light tone for anything above C5 unfortunately (unless she does falsetto). She came close to that a few times in her career but never truly developed it (she even says she doesn't like the "mix voice" and deliberately prefers to be a "power belter")@@sascham-yb9ds

i think the reason she seemingly holds back a little is because she’s more relaxed than the opening leg. now that testing the crowd knowing the show is a triumph, she’s definitely enjoying more than ever

Great vocals and superb stage presence. She just announced 12 new shows from April to August. I'm sure she's gonna deliver some great vocals for those shows. Christina is a rare kind of artist in the sense that the MORE she performs, the better she sounds.

Also the tone of her voice is a bit lighter, I dont know if that happens with weight loss or if her voice was well rested and warmed up so she didnt have to push much for the notes

I was hooked on Christina when she released the "Strip" album. She's deff one of my top, all time fav, female singers. Last time I saw her live, here on YT (maybe last tour?) I don't know, she wasn't great, but ... holy beejesus, she grabbed my attention this time around. She sounds & looks incredible. I have to find me a full show @ the residency. TY for posting!

It's amazing how she can always manage to come back on the top vocally. The last two years I was sure she had started to lose her voice for good after hearing her performances like the ones in UK and Australia, but then Vegas happened and here I am totally proven wrong once again. She hasn't sounded this good since back to basics era. I'm sure she could go all the way up to sustained E5s maybe even F5s after getting some confidence in those notes again.
She’s lost a lot of weight so her confidence came back her voice been always there but probably she sings with much ease without the extra pounds. She’s just stunning

I think the head voice part is lipped, and the rest is her live with a track, making it harder to differentiate between the prerecorded head voice and the live parts so it's less noticeable.
I don’t think she’s losing ease it’s just she’s recovering from being sick. And, her weekend was BOOKED. And as every singer, their health needs to be tip top shape to have a good voice. She just needs rest.

I seen her live in the UK and it was such a let down. Me and my friends agree it’s the worst concert we’ve been to. She spent most of the time with her tongue out and letting her backup singers do the vocals. This video is showing the xtina I wanted to see!
And why is necessary to hit that super high notes like demi if you have nothing to offer apart of it? Xtina gave us beautiful transitions, gorgeous head voice, tasteful and genius ad libs and most important she gave EMOTION! So keep your A5 note and sustain whatever the fuck u want,to me this is more than enough.

Except that’s not her comfort range, there was so much depressing of the larnyx. She needs to sing with her naturally light tone which is beautiful.

I dunno. I was amazed at her Hollywood Bowl performance, but I do love the more ethereal sound she went for and it was, well, “beautiful”.

Yes it's lipped. She is lipping quite a bit in the show but she's better at lipping than another diva we know. But she's also singing live mostly
