@@AustinV you can take out the screws in between the g and h keys, the left of the q and the one next to the bracket keys to remove some of the metal sound
@@saiph4986 Thanks for the tip! Since writing that comment, I bought some silicone o rings to put on the standoffs to help soften the bottom out sound and I think it really helped!
@@meese1k Ben is right. There's going to be a significant difference in smoothness and also will get rid of any ping that the springs would have. If you don't like the sound that 205G0 gives, try a thinner lube like Krytox 203 or Tribosys 3203. You could also try mixing in some Krytox 105 oil or use oil only to lube them just for smoothness.
Very clean good work!
Thanks!
Btw your videos are great too! I've been following along!
@@AustinV thank you so much!
Man, i really wanna build a custom lol but my corsair keyboard is still working after 3+ years.
Thx for the asmr.
Glad you enjoyed the asmr! Sounds 3 years with your Corsair can justify an upgrade lol
sound is good and all, but I feel like someone needs to point out how great Delta is.
I love my GMK Delta set. Super happy I was able to get in on the extras sale
Really need some sound dampeners tho
It already has foam in the case and behind the pcb so I don't think it can really get any more dampened :(
