Hey! My first crochet tutorial YAYYYYY :). This top is super fun to make and easy. Customize to your liking. I used a size 3 yarn and a 3.5 mm crochet hook. Feel free to use any other light weight yarn. Stay up to date with new designs by following my instagram :)

This came out so cute! But it was sadly too big for me with a starting chain of 90 :/ I’m a 32D and used a 3.5 mm hook and cotton weight 4 yarn, trying again with a chain of 65
Lol I did 65 for 6 rows then did an increase of 2 every other row for the last 10 and it didn’t come out right. Not sure whether to try a third time😭it’s soooo cute just doesn’t fit

The pattern was very easy to follow and worked up quick. I'm not sure exactly what my issue was but I find the top to be very bulky ...It could possibly be a yarn weight issue. Otherwise great tutorial thank you !

Hey, it may be really see through using a 5 mm hook. People have used a weight 4 yarn but with a smaller hook.
How do you calculate the measurements
donna smith you measure under your bust and subtract 5-6 inches.

I have a 35 inch bust and 32 under bust, how much should I chain out as the foundation?
Hey, you need to make a chain stretched to around 30 inches. Everyone amount of chains will be different due to yarn type, hook size and tension.

Yes! I would say go a bit smaller in size because 4 stretch a lot especially if it’s acrylic. I would suggest chain a bit less then your measurement. Hope this helps!
